Soft, pretty yarn but NOT a size 4 worsted weight. Much closer to 3. Does not blend with other worsted weight size 4’s because it’s so much thinner.

I am a beginner and thought cheaper yarn would be a good start. OH MY was I wrong! I couldnt work with this being a newbie and thought maybe I was just crap at this skill... as I tried to work with it the texture is not pleasant, and it frays threads so easy and the weight was just unmanageable for me. So I went and dug up some a small ball old yarn among my craft supplies thats a heavier tighter knit and I had it crocheted in a couple hours! So it wasn't me after all, it was wrong choice yarn to learn the basics with. This yarn may work for advanced crocheters but did not work for this beginner.But I will keep it around for other crafts and may tackle it when I become more seasoned.

I would say this is probably the best yarn for someone learning to crochet. The price is amazing for the quality. And you still have an awesome MODERN color selection. I will say this yarn is a lot thinner than other size 4 yarns, I would even say it was probably a size 3. But the best part of the yarn was that it didn’t get fuzzy, at all! The cream color is a little more yellow than I expected but it worked up beautifully; and this is my very first completed crochet project ever! I used 2 strands together for this child sized scarf and this was comparable to a size 4 weighted yarn. There were zero knots in either skein, and I still have some left over. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I love this yarn and I am far from a beginner. It is very soft and easy to work with. I don't have much trouble with splitting and I am in my third skein and have not encountered any knots. Don't understand the negative comments. I have made several towel toppers, a hat and baby sweater with the garnet and just ordered saffron, cayenne, and more garnet. What do folks expect for more than the $2.99 price

Just so so. If you’re looking for quality yarn, I wouldn’t pick this one. The feel of the ball of yarn feels initially kind of soft, but working with it, not so much. I wouldn’t buy again.

Very thin 4 weight. Center pull impossible to find. Probably won’t buy again.

I love the yarn and I am making a temp blanket with it but I need to order more and now the price went from 2.99 to almost 9.00 and it's only for 3.5oz. I need to find a place that will carry this and for a cheaper price. Also it has been delayed twice now on the time it was supposed to be here.

I love knitting with this yarn! It's super soft and has just the right thickness
