This book is quite entertaining in it's action, twists, and the growing trust and love between Seria and Kai, as she finally finds out about her mother, and who and what she really is. She discovers her true purpose. Convincing Kai of her role is another matter. Others have said enough about the story, that I don't need to repeat. It does end without a certain HEA for Seria and Kai, with a definite lead-in for the next book, which I really hope fills in the gaps in their story, which is why only 4 stars. Well worth the time and money to read this book! Now to wait for the next book.

The second release from Kara Lockharte does not disappoint. Seria is a strong, independent woman who takes the challenges put before her head-on, from librarian to princess. Kai is a Tigerlord who accepts what he knows his fate will be but refuses to allow it to destroy Seria. Fate just sits back and laughs as two strong willed individuals try to escape their destiny.I enjoyed this book as much as Wanted by the Werewolf. Its a seamless blend of paranormal and sci fi as well as romance, mystery, and intrigue. I'm looking forward to following the world building that the author is developing. It is breathtaking in its detail and extremely well written.

I received Taken by the Tiger Lord as a free copy. The gifting did not determine the review/rating, which reflects my honest opinion. A good fast-paced story, but this one didn't have the same protagonist chemistry of book 1. Good plot--I loved the Library concept--and edge-of-my-seat tension. Plenty of twists and surprises to keep the reader invested in the story. The great series is one I'll continue to follow.

The continuing story gets a little more complicated.I am really looking forward to the third book so I can find out what happens with the Dragon Lords and do they get Seria's baby back alive?

Taken by the tigerlord has got to be read more than once to catch all the action that's happening and not miss the details because you read it so fast the first time to find out what happened next.I won't compare authors by name but I prefer Ms Lockhart's over many others even ms Robbs

Really enjoyed book 2. Had some major emotions in this bad boy, but solid landing in the end. Looking forward to the next novel.

Very entertaining and engaging story. Enjoyed it immensely. Last chapter increased f in my rushed. Which is why I gave it only 3 stars

This story was gripping right from the start, with Seria trying to escape from Kia, even though he lies to her, she still ends up marrying him!

What a fantastic story, two incredibly strong willed characters who each want their own way and fighting a fierce attraction to each other. This was like a roller coaster, lots of twist and turns, never knowing what was happening next. Never boring, had to keep reading till I finished at 4.30am. I hope there will be another book as there are still so many questions to be answered.
