Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash (Light Novel) Vol. 4

I didn't expect it, but I liked the direction that this book took. I enjoyed this one, and I will gladly go get the next one :)

Volume 4 covers another period of growth and development of the party overall. Gaining new skills and battle experiences along the way. Yet, this volume starts out with a real kick to the teeth. Haruhiro and his party are forced to face the reality of the harsh and unexpected consequences after the battle of Deadhead Watching Keep presented in the last volume.For me, this volume really sank in the meaning of the novels title."Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash"Parties forced to bury the ashes of dead comrades in the cruel fantasy world known as Grimgar.

Sometimes the point where I quite literally, unironically, hang my jaw with my eyes popping out if their sockets. So first of all, if you don't have something, anything, but especially some type of book that does this to you, I'm sorry for you. Second (response to the afterword), to hell with video games the mind is much more powerful. WOW, Dark souls, any game at all, to hell with them over what this brain can do with some text on a screen.

I can’t put this series down! The author pulls you in with every page and keeps you wanting more. Ao Jyumonji, thank you!

Yup, this novel is as good as the third volume. I personally liked the 3rd one a bit better than this volume but it's still VERY good. I couldn't put my phone down to stop reading. Looks like I'm on to the 5th volume. :)

Got the feel of gaming, both in an RPG and a LARP pretty good. I haven’t been to a LARP in a while but because of this series, I’ll probably go back as soon as the state of the pandemic allows.

Part 4 deals with them trying to move forwards after the events of book 3 half the book is them dealing with aftermath the rest is them fighting in new area. the book feel like the second half of book 3 an is more of the same if you enjoy yourself up till now it worth your time. the jp version has 9 volumes were we have 4 so i hope we get more as the adventure does continue

A Amazon mais uma vez impressionou em seu serviço, pois eu fiz o pedido num dia próximo ao final de semana e no período da noite, mas mesmo assim na virada do dia, aproximadamente 01:30 eles postaram o pedido e no dia seguinte já estava na transportadora que mais uma vez entregou muito rápido!Quanto a Light Novel, achei que a história continuou de forma legal apresentando diversas novas situações, como também uma surpresa logo no inicio e novos personagens.

The story is well paced, this book differs from the others in that it gives you a peek at the other party members thoughts and feelings which is quite a nice touch and gives the story it's highs and lows. The combat is still thrilling and there isn't too much jargon so it's easy to understand.
