Small and very compact. I have only used it on 3 different tree jobs and it worked very well to figure out where I needed to top the trees so they wouldn't hit a fence or shed.

Useful Clinometer for judging slopes
This review is for AdriPro Topographic Abney Hand Level Clinometer.I work in agricultural drainage and needed a new method to quickly judge slope without having to set up a laser or RTK. This light, weight and easy to use clinometer was just what I was looking for. Its able to fit easily in a glove box for a quick scan of the surroundings, and it even can attach to a belt without taking up to much space. Certainly, I don't use it for anything entirely precise in terms of judging slope (I have a laser and RTK for that), but on the fly, it definitely helps out! Plus, it is well built and will last me a while. I highly recommend it for quick surveying.

Was broken and worthless.
This is a cheap piece of Chinese-made junk and the angle indicator arm was not fixed to the bubble level, so it is completely unable to be calibrated and is essentially useless, which I discovered after using it for an hour or so.Save your money- it's worthless. I'd return but I was off on when I ordered it by a couple days and missed the window.

Small and accurate
I've used this clinometer a handful of times and it has given accurate results. I've been using it with a measuring wheel to measure the heights of large utility masts (for planning drone flights). Measured 100' high with +/- 5' results. The size of the clinometer might not make it a good fit for some... I like the small size. It takes a little practice and a steady hand to sight the level. Glad it came with the case that I can loop on belt... I would drop it!
