Bloch Women's Warm Up Bootie Dance Shoe

I had a big problem trying to figure out the size to get my grandaughter. Her normal shoe size I believe is a 2. Her last bloch boots are a 3 and they still fit. I ended up getting a womens small which is 4-6 and they do fit. I called and spoke to someone at bloch and the xlarge childs size and the adult xsmall are the same . So if your childs shoe size is in between those 2 sizes then the adult small should fit fine with some grow room. Hope this helps make buying easier for some.

I got these to replace an old, well-loved pair of REI down booties to wear around the house. I was skeptical the Bloch’s would be as warm since they are synthetic filled, but they are!I really like the design with the adjustable elastic strap to hold them in place. This completely eliminates the tripping hazard I had with my old down booties that slouched down too much.The Bloch’s are also tighter around the ankles than my old down booties, which is great except it makes putting them on and off a tad more difficult. (There is a slight adjustment with a velcro tab, but an actual drawstring would be a nice addition here. Are you listening, Bloch?)Another thing I love about the Blochs is the non-skid bottoms. They are very grippy — great on carpet and on smooth floors (we have large tiles and linoleum). These Bloch’s have hands-down the best non-slip sole of any slipper I’ve owned! At the same time the soles are comfy and flexible, lacking the toe-catching factor of a thicker rubber sole.I wear a ladies size 9 shoe and the size L feels just barely big enough with my winter socks. I’d appreciate a bigger toe box. I’ll have to keep my toenails well trimmed!

Size: I wear between 8.5 and 9; I got a Large. I was replacing my down booties which had gotten old; I love these because they're just as warm if not warmer than the down. They have a flat comfy pad in the sole to protect against our hard floors, and a very good bottom exterior surface so I don't slip and can wear them outside. What I love most: there are adjustable, elastic straps to help the bootie stay at the ankle so I shuffle less when I wear them, and they are tall enough to go over the bottoms of my pant legs, with another adjustable elastic binding there at the top. Love these. I got blue because the color I wanted wasn't available in my size but it's very pretty. PS: I never write reviews. I only write if the product is truly great.

As a male, thanks to an answered question by another male, I was able to order the correct size for me (since these are for women). When my feet are cold, I am cold. Thanks to the Bootie Dance Shoes, my feet stay warm when I am at my computer desk. The opening to inset your feet is a bit tight but insures retention of warmth. The only negative factor is that the booties are a bit wide for my narrow foot..... but I love them!!

I wear a size 7 street shoe, size 5M ballet slipper and size 5/5.5M ghillie. I bought the Medium (shoe size 6-8) of these boots per the size chart, and they fit over my dance shoes comfortably without being overly large. They keep my feet warm without making them hot, and they are fine for wearing around the studio or stretching out my new ghillies. They do not have much of a sole to speak of (e.g., just fabric on the outer bottom), so I don't plan to wear them between the studio and my car lest they wear out too quickly. The inner sole is padded with a slab of foam or something, which I find to be a trip hazard, so you have to be careful wearing them if you plan to do a lot of walking. But I'm very happy with this purchase. They fit well for their intended purpose and are comfortable. $45 is a bit of a stretch for these, but for me it's an investment in my foot health, so it's worth the money Would recommend and purchase again.

I actually bought these to wear around my house during the winter because it's so cold, and I am in love! They keep my feet and ankles super warm and they feel like you are walking on clouds.I sized up because a lot of the comments said they ran a bit small. I'm usually an 8, and while I went with the larger size, I think the medium would have been totally fine. In the larger size, I can wear my dance shoes with giant thick socks and still have a bunch of room.I highly recommend buying these - I hemmed and hawed for a while thinking the price was a bit much for slippers, but they are so worth it!

Having been a professional ballet dancer I was no stranger to warm-up booties, but now three decades and five joint replacements later these boots have become my everyday boots because I have what is known as 'dropped foot' meaning the foot is paralyzed. I must now wear an AFO brace and these booties accommodate it nicely, even though these should not be worn on the pavement I have had to so until my customized boots are back from the bootmaker. I cannot believe how well these have held up...seriously, it's been almost eighteen months and there is not a tear, a thread, an anything that has deteriorated. I used to wear Bloch pointe slippers for performances and what a nice surprise to see Bloch quality extend to their lesser-known footwear. This is a serious A+ item.

These booties just worked out perfect for me. The sole is wide enough so that my feet don’t slide off to the side, but don’t feel like I’m walking on a plank either. They are very warm with plenty of toe room for circulation, and the sole flexes when I walk. I just love them!

My 13 year old daughter is a size 5uk so we ordered size 5-6 in black.She is able to wear these wither with her dance tights, ballet shoes as well her pointe shoes. She wears size 5.5 pointes from Freed and is still able to wear the booties over the top no problems. Daughter absolutely loves them and perfect for her dance classes as when she goes from one studio to another she has to go outside for a very short walk (15-20metres) and this means she can just pop these over her ballet shoes and head to class and get ready for the b st class as opposed to changing shoes before and after making her run late. Keeps her feet warm and she also wears them around the house as slippers.She loves them.

Do exactly what they are meant to! Help keep my daughter's feet warm and easy to keep on while doing stretching. Good soles means she can keep them on from the car to the studio without worrying they will get damaged.

Fantastic to wear over dance shoes to keep feet warm and brilliant as slippers at home too. They come up small as my daughter is in size 4.5 Uk and there is little room in the medium size UK 5 to 6.
