I have only one criticism of this product. The bag it comes in is too flimsy and it rips without warning. But who needs the bag? The rod has a nice, quite soft, action down to the handle; I have hauled out 8lb carp and 5lb tench with no sign of trouble. The three quiver tips are sensitive and using a swim feeder the strike action is such that I've hardly missed a bite. At this price? Why wouldn't you?

I must say this rod has become my go-to rod for majority of my float and feeder fishing. It is both lightweight and durable I've found and the full cork handle was a must in my books; from the classic look to the wonderful feel it provides. It was admittedly a little thicker than I expected when looking at the image but that is definitely not a downside when handling fish of many sizes. It did great this winter pulling out a few carp and was definitely a winner going for roach. Can't wait to put it to the water next summer to target some bigger prizes!

Fantastic i got this for my holidays not something i would use on a day to day basis but its got a nice paying action and to be honest its a nice place of kit for the money 2 rods in one save loads of space in the car. i all ways use Preston or drennan rods as i was going away i didn't want to take them because i was worried i was going to damage them bit this little rod is the business

Ordered 2 but only 1 came and other was running late so I cancelled the 2nd one but still a good rod
