Found my old phone but not the charger. This works great and I was able to get old photos and videos off the phone.

Does Not Work For Data Transfer (Sync)
Charges phone but is not a data cable. If you want to charge a 15 year old phone, there ya go. If you want to transfer files, look elsewhere.

Didn't work with old Samsung phone. Charger heated up and nothing happened.

Did not work
Did nothing with my Samsung a887 phone. Fit properly but would not communicate with my PC or charge. I changed the com settings on the phone in Select USB Mode to Mass storage and every other connection type too and nothing worked.
