Good stuff
All Permatex products are good. This product is great for an application where the part doesnt fit as tightly as it needs. I use it often; but cant find it locally anymore

Bearings on boat trailer
I redid bearings on boat trailer. I also installed buddy bearings and used this product to seal bearing cover to help ensure water does not get in bearings

Worked the First Try
Worked great. Like a fool I originally thought the regular blue thread locker would work fine for the sleeves on my tractor's rock shaft I was rebuilding. Turns out no, it doesn't work at all for that. I read the directions on this one (cleaned parts very thoroughly) and it worked first try. The sleeves haven't moved at all and I've loaded them with implements a couple times now. When using the wrong thread compound, it let loose when I just pushed grease into the space with my grease gun. Moral of the story, buy the right compound and get it right the first time. This stuff is cheap, your time is not.

Excellent sleeve retainer
This stuff is just shy of being permanent. Be certain your parts are exactly where you want them. Fortunately it cures quite slowly so you have plenty of time for alignment. I use it (like most everything else I buy) in my RC hobby. It will fix RC boat drive dogs in place and they will not let go. If you absolutely positively must remove it you will need to heat it up to around 400 degrees (F) to get it to let loose. You wouldn't want to use in a crematorium for example, but, for everythign else it is greatLocktite 15285 will set this stuff and make it rock solid. I am sure Permatex makes a catalyst for this, but, the Locktite was what I had. I clean the parts well with acetone or mineral spirits and make sure there is no oil or contamination. Good stuff and a little goes a long way,

Does exactly what it is supposed to do..
I purchased this to bond a teflon stuffing liner to my driver shaft stuffing tube in a scale RC boat, and it seems to work well. My drive shaft spins at 35K RPm so I needed to make sure the friction reducing liner was bonded well to the Stuffing tube. The drive shafts can get warm/hot under load spinning at 35K RPM and so far this has proven to hold at temperatures of around 175deg. and it is water proof. Good product.

Greese buddy beaing cap adhesive
After reading other buyers of Grease Buddy Bearing Caps having issues with losing caps one of the buyers recommending using sleeve retainer during the install process. It is basically lock tight for non threaded applications. I applied it to my new set of trailer Bearing Buddies and they are both still on. Works well and added piece of mind I will not have an issue in the future.
