Well Made, Meaningful, and Beautiful
I bought two of these -- a baby blue Horseshoe Nail Cross necklace for a friend and an amethyst Horseshoe Nail Cross necklace for myself. We both have received many compliments. They are beautifully crafted and just the right size. The cord can be adjusted from choker to chest length, so I can match the cross necklace length to my outfit and mood. My friend loves her baby blue cross and I love the amethyst color of mine. They're dressy enough to wear to church and casual enough to wear when we're out and about. The symbolism of each element (the simulated leather cord, the wire, the nails) make these crosses even more meaningful. This seller thoughtfully included care instructions and an email address for comments or problems. I could not be happier with the product or the seller.I should mention (since I was confused), the horseshoe crosses that currently sell for .01 are from a different seller named "Horseshoe Crosses." These crosses are smaller and the wire coverage is not as good. While I can't tell if they won't last as well as the ChanCrafted Artisan Jewelry crosses I'm reviewing here until I wear them more (I bought two made by Horseshoe Crosses later on, thinking they were made by the same seller), the ones made by Jamie, owner and artisan of ChanCrafted Artisan Jewelry, are larger (perfectly sized), well crafted, and the wire covers more of the nails. The delivery was very fast from both sellers. Mind, I'm not saying the ones made by Horseshoe Crosses are in any way shoddy, but I don't see how they can make a profit at a penny a piece without cutting corners somewhere. According to the ChanCrafted Artisan Jewelry insert, the shipping charge pays for the shipping, the supplies to make the crosses, and the Amazon fees. The cost of the crosses themselves cover the time it takes to make them and Jamie's expertise, and is well worth the modest price.

Made very well, worth more than the price.
We just received the cross yesterday, it was a gift for my son. (He is three). He kept wanting to wear my cross or my husband's and asked for his own cross. I came across this one when I did a search and loved that green was available since his favorite color is green. I didn't want to spend a fortune on a cross since he is so young and pretty rough in things. I very surprised this was as inexpensive as it was it's worth significantly more. Beautifully made and I loved the slip knot function of the leather chain because it goes small enough for my little guy, but as he grows we can extend it and it's easy to get on an off. He lit up like a Christmas tree when he saw it today. And calls it his lucky cross. When we went to the store this afternoon he was so proud of it he ran up to strangers to show it to them.

Since you asked...my experience
Secular history shows an Apostle cross was worn by the very early-1st generation apostles and Christians. Esp. In OS churches est by the Apostles. The converts were so enthusiastic to witness the good news. The Gospel! Even in Rome where they were punished and murdered for refusing to give up their love for Jesus. It was made.by almost anything. Wood and twine etc. It was NOT an idol but an opportunity to tell others what it was when asked.I wear this one. It represents to me the humility of a Christ like person. I witness the same way.

Love it
I bought this for my 7 year old son and we both just love it! Because of the cord slide it adjusts perfectly for his small neck but can be made larger for adults too. It is very well made, there are no sharp edges. However the color on the wire has already started to chip off. I’m going to contact the seller to see if we can exchange it. Or I may consider choosing a natural wire color.Personally, the style with the nail seems more masculine and would make a great gift for that hard to buy for male!
