This beautiful pot, and applicator look very fancy out of the box, and it even comes with a free sample of one of their other products - always a hit with me. I have quite pronounced crow’s feet, as I’m a woman of a certain age, and i recognize that no cream can work miracles - at least I’ve not seen it happen yet, and I’ve tried many, MANY potions. So i don’t really expect a vastly noticeable result in my eyes. The best results I’ve seen are those “quick fix” temporary tightening creams, but those are not a long term solution, and a temporary solution, before you go somewhere to an event, and briefly tighten up the skin round your eye. This is a targeted cream, for use around the eye socket, and claims to rebuild the skin’s matrix, by lifting the eye contour and improving sagginess. Bold claims, so lets see what long term use does for me. Short term use (I’ve only been using it for a few days) my eyes do feel more awake, and wider. The cream smells very nice, though i know some people prefer unscented products, i don’t have an issue with it, and this smells really good to me. The texture is pretty light, yet rich. From beauty school, i learned that with eye products - less is more, and go gently when applying it. The skin round eyes is very delicate and stretches easily, so we were taught to gently pat eye creams in with our fingertips, as well as a light massage technique. Not that i do any of that now - there are tools to do everything. And this comes with a cooling, very soothing applicator, that just feels so pleasurable when I’m applying the cream. My eye skin feels pretty hydrated, though no difference in the wrinkles. I don’t have, sagging, bagging, puffiness or dark circles, so none of those are a concern, but a tightening effect would definitely be desirable. I would say that effects after 3 days are marginal, but I’m hopeful. Maybe not to reverse the aging process, but at least slow it down a bit.

Spain is renowned for incredible skincare, and GERMAINE DE CAPUCCINI is a well-established skincare line that's been around for years. I've only had the pleasure of using two of their products, and unfortunately didn't have the same luck with their serum as with this eye cream. Usually, I don't prefer fragrance in skincare and European countries are notorious for it. This scent, however, is lightly feminine and fresh scent that doesn't cause allergy or sensitivity reactions around my eyes. This is great for me because the skin around the eye is very thin and more reactive to the ingredients in eye moisturizers than other skincare. Any eye cream that passes this test is a win for me. The eye area definitely shows lift and smoothness with increase luminosity and some depuffing. This was my experience, but yours may differ. Gel creams are a particular fave of mine, as well as serums and oils, because they have the most dramatic and visible effect on rejuvenating and treating the eye area. This cream absorbs well without being greasy or shiny, and has the added benefit of a metal roller ball to smooth the cream along the eye area, from the inner eye to the outer eye. The skin looks smooth, moisturized, and tightened afterwards with no bothersome scent. That really surprised me given my experience with the skin serum in the same line, which was the exact opposite. The product is pricier than some and there are three drugstore brands that are even better than competitive department store or luxury brands, but to each their own. Buy what works best for you, regardless of price. As much as I like this eye cream, I probably won't re-order it in favor of other cheaper and/or reliable brands that work even better for me. Still, this is a good, effective product but not the best I've used for my eyes.

I received this product on October 30 and did patch tests for two days. I tried some on my arm on the 30th with no ill effects and then a small part under my eye on the 31st. I’ve had some bad results when I haven’t patch tested thoroughly in the past,so now this is my standard operating procedure for every new product I try. The first thing I noticed when removing this from the box was the extremely nice way it is presented. I’ve been unlucky with dark circles since I was a child and they have just gotten more pronounced as I’ve gotten older. This formula claims to improve your eyesocket and to reduce sagginess. Honestly I’d be pretty impressed and I would’ve been surprised if it happened in the 28 days I’ve been using it. I haven’t seen any type of noticeable difference but I didn’t expect to in this short amount of time. It goes on nicely with the roller and I’ve had no negative reaction to the product. My skin seems to absorb it quite well and even though it’s a rather small jar it doesn’t take too much product to get the job done. The cream feels rich and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that I see an improvement. For me personally I rarely notice any positive results in less than four months. The best I can hope for this early is a product that moisturizers my eye area well (it does) and that the texture, smell, and presentation are enough to make me buy it at least one more time after I run out of the first jar(I will).

I was unfamiliar with this brand before trying this product. Now I am eager to check out a few other things in their product line because I have enjoyed this one so much. This is definitely a high-end eye cream, and you can tell that from the packaging and presentation to the inclusion of a beautiful metal applicator tool to the smell and feel of the product itself. It all feels very fancy and luxe. But this is serious skincare, too. This cream is formulated with Blefaroplex, Germaine de Capuccini's proprietary botanical blend of collagen- and elastin-building ingredients. It eliminates toxins and reduces wrinkles, puffiness and dark circles--just what I want in an eye product. I do think I have seen some improvement after using this product for a few months. One of my eyelids had started to show early signs of drooping late last year, and I expected it to be getting worse by now...but it's really not. Of course, who knows exactly why, but I'd like to think this product may have helped prevent any worsening droop or wrinkles. What I do know is that I really enjoy using this stuff. Best of all, Germaine de Capuccini is passionately opposed to any kind of animal testing in cosmetics or skincare. They don't do it and they don't buy ingredients from suppliers who do it, so their products are always 100% cruelty-free! I love everything I have learned about this company. I only wish I could afford their products a little more easily. Five shining stars!

While I am a skin care addict, I am always skeptical about the new brand I’ve never heard of. I was running low on my usual eye cream (Advanced Génifique Eye Cream from Lancome), so I was very tempted by this one because the price seemed like it was a quality one (Also neat company accounts on SNS and positive reviews on other sites). But again, I had a very low expectation. So I was pleasantly surprised by its good first impression. I usually wait to finish at least half of the bottle before wearing any review, but this one seems like it deserves preliminary 5 stars for now. First, the fragrance of this eye cream, while not so subtle, didn’t have any unpleasant smell like many other skincare products I’ve recently tried from the program. However, everyone feels different about a specific scent, so I cannot guarantee you won’t mind. The texture of the cream feels smooth on skin and it has the perfect viscosity for my liking. While the cream feels rich, my under eye felt well nourished (slightly sticky even after absorbed well) without feeling uncomfortably greasy. Overall, quite satisfied. I will report back if there is any new development especially in terms of its effectiveness.

This is a very nice eye cream that feels somewhat cooling on your skin. I can’t really speak on the tool it comes with; I’ve never liked using applicators like that! It’s metal and really small. I just use my fingers. I know this was targeted for men, but it works great for me! The texture is light and it absorbs quickly. I notice a slight sheen left behind, but it’s not too oily. Makes the skin under my eyes feel firmer and look more plump. I didn’t notice any difference in dark circles. It’s expensive, but worth it (for men or women). Hope this helps! 😉

My background: - 39, female - lots and lots of different products in AM and PM rotation - use a combination of actives and strong acids twice daily (including adapalene 0.1% gel), six days per week - love heavy products - slug every night - generally normal skin but tends to dry out due to daily use of acids, actives, etc I only heard of this brand few months ago, but it wasn't love on first sight. This eye cream was my first product to try, and since then I've tried a couple of other face creams that I absolutely love. This cream has great ingredients, but it didn't really do anything for me, unfortunately. I don't have puffy eyes, but I've had dark circles my whole life. Prior to this cream, I would just put whatever products I put on my face, also under my eyes. That includes strong retinols, acids, moisturizers, etc. When I came across this product, I was excited to try something specifically for my eyes. There were two eye creams I was testing out at the same time, so I would apply this one to one undereye and the other one on the other. I wanted to be able to make a clear comparison any positive or negative changes. Unfortunately, neither cream produced any visible, long term results on my dark circles or wrinkles after daily use for several weeks. Maybe it would work better for puffiness, I don't know. One thing I do need to note is - there is a slight tint to this eye cream (and several others, I noticed). When you apply it under your eyes, the skin instantly becomes brighter, but it's only due to the tint (or whatever ingredient) in the cream. The first time I applied it, I put on a bit too much, and when I woke up in the morning I had chalk looking tiny pieces/leftovers all over my skin. I feel like this is misleading when it's not blatantly advertised. This cream is very expensive at almost $100, but you only need a tiny bit, so it would last months, easily, if you decide to try it. :(

I have been plagued with bags under my eyes all my life, and have used numerous products in hopes of diminishing this problem. However none of the products that I have used in the past ever worked, until now. This Germaine DE Capuccini Timexpert Lift eye cream really has seemed to help with not only the reduction of the bags under my eyes but, the dark circles under my eyes also seems to be lighter, and the fine lines around my eyes don't seem as noticeable after using this product, for almost 3 weeks. The cream itself absorbs well into the skin, doesn't have much of a scent, and just a little dab on each eye goes a long way which is a plus, since this product is relatively pricey for a 0.5 Fl. oz jar, but well worth it if you really want to see some results. I didn't experience any irritation or any other problems when using the this cream, so over all I give this Germaine DE Capuccini eye cream a thumbs up !
