Mr Beams MB800 LED Puck Light, 6-Pack, White, 6 Count

This product uses a light and a motion sensor. Both need to detect certain levels of motion and lack of light in order to light up. I found that it essentially works as advertised, however, I believe the light sensor is a bit too strictly calibrated as it has to be fairly dark in order to turn the light on.The amount of light is just sufficient for my application (light up a couple of stair steps) but could be more and is probably not bright enough for illuminating a closet or such. It's really more a night light than anything else.I would wanted to give it 3.5 stars but since I can't I'm giving it 4 as I think the price is excellent. Just know what you are planning to do with it as the product won't work for all applications.

I'm using this in the kitchen - under-sink cabinet. Because of the layout and size of the cabinet, it gets very little ambient light from the kitchen. I had a battery powered LED light in this cabinet that used a manual on/off switch. But I would frequently forget to turn it off and the batteries would go dead in a few days. So I went in search of a motion activated lamp. This Mr Beams puck light works great. When reaching into the cabinet, the light comes on when my hand or arm comes within about 15 inches. I would like this better if it was brighter, as my old, manual light was. But this is adequate to find items without fumbling around in the dark. It's been in use for about a year, and still working well, good as the day I bought it.

Well after buying the 6 pack I have two left to find a place in my home. Ive used them in hall closet, bathroom hallway, backyard shed, etc. great little beam of light when needed. Only works in darkish to dark conditions. Motion sensor works well and evem while partially obstructed.

I am extremely happy with these lights. Have purchased before. How fast the batteries need replacing depends on often they are activated. But they are easy to change and work exactly as they are intended.

They are ok, but battery replacing all the time is not my thing, prefer electric

Installed four of these in the stairwell. Long battery life and the sensors work great!

I installed these lights in all the storage cabinets of our RV. They are bright and really make finding stuff easier. Sometimes I have to open a cupboard twice in order to get the motion detection to kick in, but it's worth it. One light seems to be prone to falling out of its holder when the door is closed, but all the others are secure. Overall, pleased.

The lights are bright enough that they're better above or below eye level. They also stay on slightly longer than some plug-in motion lights I have.I screwed one in. For ohers, I've mostly used the adhesive squares and/or just placed them on surfaces.In addition to inside closets and cabinets I've placed them under kitchen cabinets, on the way to (and inside) the bathroom, as well as to the back door.In the early, dark hours I can get up, use the bathroom, and let the dogs out without turning on any plugged-in lights. This will be especially nice for the occasional power outage.I started with 2 sets. I bought another set, which also found places quickly. I just ordered another set with more ideas.Each takes 3 AAA batteries. Have enough on hand when they arrive.
