Highly recommended
Excellent product. I have used TILE products for a few years now having first used them when traveling to Kabul. I used one TILE which I stiched into the hem of my combat trousers linked to my oppos iphone.Always reassuring to see your luggage is loaded onto your aircraft by a quick check on the TILE app. The Rugged TILE is my dogs collar and provides peace of mind. The lack of the ability to replace the battery used to be problematic but now this has been resolved. The smaller dot TILES are hidden within my briefcase, medic pack and laptop bag. Another is on my car keysI am going to unpick the stitching on my wallet to insert the credit card shaped TILE into the lining and then re-stitch it to help aid ensuring the tracking device goes undetected if my wallet is stolen.Cuts down the time to find my car keys/smartphone in the morning rush

Saving my life since 2016....!!
Really great products, I've got a couple of their older models but wanted to add the new Slim and Sticker to my collection! They work as great as usual, longer range apparently too which is good, but I love the new designs - the Slim fits perfectly in my wallet and its much louder than the previous version so I can hear it a lot easier now when I've left it in the laundry basket (!!) - sadly that also means the Missus can find my wallet easier too..! The Stickers are pretty cool too - I've put one on my remote control (its super sticky so can't see that coming off anytime soon thankfully!) and I've added one to the underside of my bicycle saddle - its a £2k mountain bike so I really want to ensure I've got a chance to find it should it ever get stolen. Overall, I'm loving these new Tiles.

Unimpressed. Basic functionality failures.
UPDATE19-Oct-2020So I discovered that smart alerts do not work for me because I always keep my Samsung Galaxy in a battery saving mode. When changed to "High Performance" the alerts started to work. Tile needs to run as background process which battery saving mode restricts. Glad I found but it is a pain since I cannot use the battery saving mode. Getting this function to work made me add a 3rd star to the review. The smart alerts themselves have days when they keep going off very often (several times on a 2 hour visit to a park) saying I had forgotten all my staff which I did not. This got very annoying. Strangely, it doesn't happen all the time... after that I had several days of no false alerts at all.Overall I did find it useful on a few occasions but the false alerts, useless map coordinates and frequent "device is out of range" messages when the device is next to me made me return the product. I might try a competitor or wait for the next version that might have those issues solved.Having said that, many people will find this device useful despite the drawbacks. I just could not justify the price I paid (£90 for 2 packs plus £30 subscription) given the issues. I will come back to the concept in one way or another.===========INITIAL REVIEWSo, I bought 2 packs of tiles: 4 + 2. Also, I bought a regular home key finder with 8 tags.Cost: Tiles almost £90. Home Key Finder £25.I must say that I started thinking if it's not just better to use a regular Home Key Finder outside but of course you must carry the controller (it's small but still extra thing) plus the tags are just tiny bit too thick. Tile slim better fits in a wallet or passport. Then I started to test both systems and the Home Key Finder worked perfectly and swiftly. Tile sometimes works fast but sometimes i see "connecting" message rather too long - annoying when you are in a rush.Smart alerts are supposed to notify you when you leave Tile behind except that i turned them on and not even once was i notified i left Tile behind. Doesn't work for me.Last map location is pretty useless too. So I left my wallet with a Tile at home and discovered later I don't have it with me. The last known location was from 2 days before in a park. I wasn't sure if I lost it at this location but it turned out it was just at home. Again, that makes this feature useless for me. Someone answered a question here saying that this is basically the last location I was in contact with another Tile user but that's useless piece of information for me. Tile should know the last time my wallet was at home and show me that location.Of course, if you do lose an item with a Tile attached another user might pick up it's signal and help you find it. Given my simple tests I'm sceptical.Do I need to set up some extra permissions on my phone? I dont know.I have 3 types of Tiles: Mate (like a key ring) for keys and bag, Slim(for wallet and passport) and the Stick one (I put on a bike and second phone). Beware, the stick one can be placed on something only once. I have no idea how useful it will be if I try to remove it. Also, the stick one is definitely not as loud as the other two. Really I just wanted to try it with my 2nd phone as I had 2 stick ones in the pack. It would have been better to get a Slim one.The jury is still out. I'm considering returning the £90 worth of Tiles and trying another tagging system. I will continue testing but when I see the Home Key Finder for £25 work so much better I have doubts if the Tile technology is mature enough. Unless I'm doing something wrong.

Useless
I purchased the key one the 28 pound one that doesn't work like its big brother the tile slim. I mislaid my galaxy note ten plus this evening and I thought no problem ,all I have to do is double click the button on either device my phone will ring and as if by magic my phone would be found. But no I double clicked both devices several times while walking around my house trying to hear my phone ring. I went out onto my drive stood next to my car again total silence. However on looking inside the car I found my phone. Now the phone was in the central console and I was standing by the open door I tried both devices again nothing the phone didn't even murder vibrate or anything else. I picked up the phone and holding it in the same hand as both devices ,and when I clicked my phone rang. I don't see the point of spending out on these things if the first time you go to use it they don't work. So first thing in the morning I will be getting a jiffy bag and returning the useless things. My advice for anyone looking to be able to find your phone wallet or keys don't bother with this expensive rubbish, keep them in a day glow fluorescent bag you might look like a gimp but you won't loose them .
