Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium, Sample Size,0.04 Ounce

Good product, good seller, but this scent isn’t for me. I’m just really not into gourmands no matter how hard I try. The scent lasts a while and has good projection, the coffee note is strong at first and mixes nice with the spice. The dry down is very vanilla, which is why this scent doesn’t work for my body, but I think other people would love this.

Smells amazing! Hadn't tried this scent before and needed something to take on vacation. I normally wear Burberry Goddess and this was just as great.

I recently received a sample of Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium, and while I was excited to try it, I was disappointed to find that the vial was less than half full.I understand samples are meant to provide just a taste of the fragrance, but with such a small amount, it was difficult to properly experience the scent over multiple uses. I would have liked to fully test how the fragrance evolves throughout the day or try it on different occasions, but with so little product, that wasn’t possible.The scent itself was pleasant, but I would have appreciated more product to give it a fair assessment.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I hope future samples can be more generously filled to better reflect the brand’s quality and customer care.

I got the sample to see if I like it, since this stuff is really expensive in larger sizes. It looks like I'm going to end up getting a big bottle after the sample runs out because this is my new favorite.

Too small. Priced to high.

First of all, I love the scent. I'd buy again, HOWEVER...I'll make sure to read reviews for any clues regarding half-full samples received. I intended to buy a full sample - not half of one. :|

Based on the reviews, I knew I was taking a gamble ordering this. I knew it might be less than half full. As you can see, I guess I got lucky. Upon first smelling this, I didn't like it. I thought it smelled like old lady. Maybe I was just in a bad mood. Because when I sprayed it on myself the next day, I LOVED IT!😍 this smells like something a wealthy, attractive, older woman would wear. Mature and sexy, not quite grandma. I am 41, and I like it. It lasts around 3 to 4 hours. I have noticed at work that men prolong their conversations with me while I'm wearing this scent. Both young and old. I also got asked out, which rarely happens.

i knew this bottle was going to be tiny based off of other reviews with photos, so i was anticipating that fact. the bottle arrived about 3/4 full which had me pretty happy as i'd seen other shots where the bottle appeared about half empty instead. one spritz is enough for me, and the staying power is pretty impressive. it easily lasts for several hours if not all day before the scent becomes too faint to notice without shoving my nose against my skin. i don't have a nose for perfume yet so i can't discern all the different scent profiles, but i can tell you that it's floral with a bit of spice and vanilla and it smells lovely.
