These are the best ear plugs. The stay in my sons ears and are easy enough for him to put in. They do the job and keep the water out.

Earplugs for Hesitant Swimmer
My son hated putting his head under water and was not a swimmer until we got these earplugs. He has sensory issues and does not like water getting in his ears. He’s only 7, but he easily learned how to put them in himself. Now, he loves swimming and is like a fish. I guessed at the sizing, but they work and fit perfectly.

Works great
Best ear plugs I've ever had. Keeps the water out of my bad ear. Due to the small size of my ear the small worked great.

Doc Swim Ear Plugs
I purchased the Doc War Plugs years ago and LOVED them. The were very comfortable and worked well at keeping water out of my ears while swimming laps.Years have passed since my last pair of Doc’s and the material is different . The ear plugs are not as comfortable but do work just as well. I would recommend them to other.

Seem to work great!
I personally don't wear these, my 9 year old does. They were recommended by his ENT, after having ear tubes placed, for swimming. I bought one pair at the ENT office (for twice the price). I just ordered 3 more pairs, to make sure he has enough on-hand in case some go missing at resident camp...pretty happy with the savings! I don't know how you would size them for your needs - one of the techs in the office did it for my son. These are VERY easy to put in and take out. He says they don't hurt, but it does take him a few minutes to get used to them when they're in, so if you're putting them on a child, I would make sure you put them in a few minutes before going in the water so s/he can adjust to the feeling and stop playing with them. They stay in place really well. I like the blue color, which makes it quick and easy for me to see if they're still in his ears, and makes them easier to spot when he drops them on the sand. He says he can still hear, but things are a bit muffled. The ones I got from here come with a small plastic case (like an Altoids tin) for storage. The ones I bought from the ENT came in a little plastic baggie (booooohissssssss). Pleasant surprise for me.The directions say to clean with alcohol - I just pour some rubbing alcohol in a cup, dunk, swish, and let them air dry. Seem like they will last a long time, though he'll likely outgrow them.

???
I still got an ear infection after wearing while shampooing my hair. I returned them. Later I learned from someone that once you put in ear, you have to make a 1/4 to 1/2 turn for it to fit properly. SHOULD INCLUDE INSTRUCTIONS!
