These are great, but the shipping is the key
I ordered one of these for one of our sinks. It arrived several days later in a perfect box. It was an easy installation and looks like it will last for a long time and work well. Then, I ordered a second one for the other sink. It arrived in a taller, but narrower box, and was curved in order to jam it in. I had to spend a few days straightening it out. I dropped the review one star for that. The product is good, but Amazon shipping was less than great.

Needed for Peace of Mind
It’s tough to leave reviews on things like this because in reality, there isn’t much to them. It’s a hunk of plastic, like a tray for boots or shoes, in this case protecting the bottom shelf of a cabinet. You don’t even think about needing these until you do. Believe me, one leaking bottle of who-knows-what or an untimely garbage disposal failure and you know what I mean. Not knowing it for a day or two, even the best wood can be stained beyond repair. Cheap particle board is trash. This can save a lot of work replacing a trashed shelf. If you don’t need to do any cutting (i.e. the water supply comes from the bottom) and the size is close to the dimensions of the cabinet base, this is one easy application. Simply remove any items on the shelf, clean up, and slide this in. Done.If you have to cut, then measure twice, cut a hole for the supply line a slot to the hole, slide in and done. This is thick enough to protect, but still can be cut with a decent box cutter, If you want to have extra precaution, caulk up the cut parts.Like a boot tray, this should hold plenty of leaking fluids. The Xtreme Mat is thick and sturdy. Some complained it doesn’t lay flat, didn’t have any issue, and after placing a bunch of bottles of cleaners and towels and other items, who would know anyways. These also can be multi-purpose, from boot trays (which never seem to be big enough for boots), to shelf liners. My only gripe is the price, they are not cheap. On the other hand, this is something you’re likely to put in place and never have to replace, simply remove and clean up occasionally. Worth it for piece of mind.

These measure BIGGER than stated
I measured my cabinet before I purchased this mat, so I was surprised when it didn't fit. The measurements stated are 27" 3/8 w x 18 1/2" d, but I measure lip to lip 28.5" wide and 20" deep. My cabinet is 28" wide and 19" deep which is in between the stated measurements and the actual measurements. These mats are somewhat pliable, so you can squeeze them somewhat and make the edges stand up more to make the mat fit in smaller space. This works decently well in the wide direction where the walls of the cabinet squeeze the mat. In the front to back direction, there is nothing push in the mat in place in the front. I used a hair dryer to heat the edges to get them pliable enough to stand up straighter. It may not stay where I put it and it may push the cabinet doors open. When it is finally squeezed in it works passably. However, the corners are all pinched and the door brushes up against it.If I had known that this wouldn't fit, I would have other trays that I got for some even smaller cabinets: 18 x 26 Inch Plastic Tray White

Saved my new cabinets
I was re-doing my kitchen. Unfortunately, I had a crappy contractor. I put these under the sink and thank goodness I did. He didn't hook the sink drain correctly. I had water running out under the sink. This thing held it all! If I didn't have this, my new cabinets would have been destroyed. I have these in my bathroom cabinets as well. Takes care of any spills under there, if you store cleaning supplies or extra toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, face wash, etc). Love these mats, top quality, durable. Would definitely recommend.

Fits like it was made for my vanities
Purchased two sizes, one for each of my new bathroom vanities. One is a 36" base cabinet and the other is 24"They both fit like they were custom made. They seem to be well made and are super easy to install. I wish they made this product for a corner base cabinet. Our kitchen sink is mounted over a 36" base cabinet but the cabinet has a six sided shape on the interior. This is making really difficult to find any corner shaped mats.

Assumes Everybody's Plumbing is the Same
The thickness and quality of this mat are great. However, I wish there was a caveat re: how your plumbing may affect installation. If you have plumbing (pipes) that are coming up from the bottom of your vanity's cabinet, then you have to work harder to get this installed. Totally possible but if you're not handy and you don't have a drill, you're SOL and you'll have to call/pay a handyman to complete the installation. Luckily my husband has the ability and skill and installed this correctly.

Peace of Mind for Those with R/O systems, Old Plumbing or Just Want to Not Worry About Leaks
Kitchen fire started the process resulting in very nice, new kitchen cabinets. Have had R/O systems for years. Depending on type of system, some are very prone to leaks especially on filter changes or new systems. I bought a new system. Had a few leaks due to plumber's failure to follow direction in manual. Xtreme mat caught the few leaks until we fixed them. Wonderful product. Plumber never heard of them.

Popped right in under our vanity sink.
The fit wasn't snug but it covers the under sink area with only 1/4" gap, which is perfect. No trimming required and it feels sturdy so that may not have been fun. Looks like it will hold a leak for a bit. We used water leak alarms too because this will be a rental house soon. The sensor sits right down in a little area that's flat near the back of the mat - like it was made for it.
