I haven't used this yet for a trip but I tested it as soon as I got it. I was able to fit my toiletries and makeup in it including my brushes on the side. The fact that the sides open from the top is great because nothing falls out and can be used as you do a makeup brush holder at home. I'm loving this bag because I usually have to take two toiletry bags when I travel so now it's going to be just one, easier to find space for it in my luggage and just one thing to carry into the bathroom. It's also easy to grab things out of it so I don't see myself having to clutter the counter space, waiting to use everything I need before being able to fit it all back in the bag. Everything can be used and put back into it immediately. Like I said I haven't used it yet so I don't know how well it will hold up but I hope it does because I really like it so far.

I got this to replace an old toiletry bag that was much bigger. Though it was a little snug, the bag did fit all of my toiletries, including a sewing kit, a Swiss Army knife, and a travel towel. I like how it stands up and takes up just a little space on the counter too. It's already packed in my suitcase.

*** See update below *** 7/21/2016OK, let me start off by saying I was looking for a more organized version of the man's traditional toiletry travel bag. I had hoped this would fit the bill. It's not as useful as I had hoped. It takes up more space in my suitcase and holds about the same mount as a standard mens travel case.So far I have used it on two trips and though it works OK, it's just not as useful as I had hoped. I had wanted to be able to separate my items into more accessible groups that I could quickly access, instead if needing to dig and unload stuff to find what I was looking for in my old toiletry kit. Unfortunately the side pockets do not expand much (much less than I had hoped for) so the side pockets are limited to small flat items like "blister pack meds, clippers and tweezers. They are not tall enough for a full sized comb.I also thought the "handing feature" would be a great asset. The only problem is that the way the front of the case is cut down, tall heavy items such as normal sized bottle of shampoo, hand cream or bottle of liquid hair spray, tend to tilt forward and have even fallen out on occasion.. especially if you are hanging the case on a door hook and it is sying back and forth.SO................................Basically, it's designed to be a makeup case for short items and small objects. Not exactly what I had hoped for, but I guess that's not the items fault.Another gripe with the design is that the hook has nothing to fasten it to inside the case so when you try and zip the bag closed, the hook poops out and gets in the way, hanging down into the zipper path. An easy problem to overcome with the addition of a interior loop to store the hook in when not needed but then not a huge operational issue either, just an annoyance!**UPDATE**Well this is only the 3rd time I have used the bag and the hook came off. The cloth strap that held the hook in place ripped out form where it was sewn in. I have not had time to see if it can be re-sewn back in place but this should not have happened. I downgrade my review by one star and take back my comment about being well made.

Color was slightly different than displayed. I was planning on a Lime Green. More of an Olive Green arrived. Still holds everything I can imagine plus some. I look forward to traveling with this bag to see how it holds up.

This was just want I needed to replace my old travel bag. With all the compartments was easy to transfer all my stuff. went traveling this weekend and work great.

I got this toiletry bag for work. I work 24 hour shifts and need to carry every hygiene product I regularly use. My last bag was great, it was accidentally thrown out. I saw this one and took a chance that it would fit everything I need and it does! I'm delighted with the room it has and how organized I can be with the different zippered compartments.The photo I included has a deodorant next to the bag for scale.

I LOVE this bag! Perfect for holding all my makeup and brushes! I am big into compartments and organizing so this works great! One thing to note is that the center, top part doesn't stay up well unless its hanging so sometimes it gets in the way. The beige color also comes a little more tan than expected, but still nice.

This bag fits ALOT! Not only can I fit my toiletries in, but my little makeup and jewelry bag tuck into the center to zip up tidy in my carry on. It is just the right size. It is a good quality and should last for years.. I highly recommend
