Installed in about 30 minutes, worked perfect! Quality is very good, just remember to take out the rotor lock before you install. Got rid of my mystery squeak that was hard to find.

See people in comments and forums installing these and the jeep will not throttle up, backfires etc, all the instructions say tdc on compression stroke and timing tab at 0, if yours acts funny bring up tdc on compression stroke and at the timing tab set that at 4 to 6 btdc and your good. Found this out the hard way.

Product working great, so far. Good value for the price. Make sure you read the instructions before install. FYI TDC is more like a 5:45 o’clock angle versus a 5 o’clock, I had to remove mine a couple of times to get it right. If you read the instructions to the T you will not have an issue.

Distributor was packed very carefully and arrived promptly. It is an excellent replacement for the original distributor on my 1998 Jeep Cherokee that has 222,000 miles when my vehicle suddenly stopped running while I was driving. Once I installed the new distributor, the vehicle started right up and runs better than it has in recent years. I'm very pleased with this item and installation instructions were included. I ordered this distributor for my sons 99 XJ after attempting a tune up and finding the old unit had a lot of wobble in the shaft. This unit comes com[plete with good quality cap and rotor. It was an exact match and took less than an hour to install with simple instructions included. If you have high mileage and are thinking about replacing the distributor this is only slightly more than a cap and rotor.
