ColorProof ClearItUp Detox Shampoo

Wow this clarifying shampoo is fantastic! I have fine color treated hair that always seems to get oily on top and dry on the bottom. I also have had a baby and breastfed recently so have been through a bunch of hormone changes that affect hair. I started using dry shampoo after the baby was born (hello time saver!) and I was concerned that the build up might be blocking new hair growth. I got Clear It Up and use it 2x a week. I think my hair is coming in now and it feels much cleaner and more balanced. My hair has a lot of body and it super duper clean when I use it. I might start using it everyday!!! I also got the Super Plump shampoo and conditioner and love those as well (except for the conditioner scent) and the dry shampoo is awesome although the smell is terrible.

Worked as expected, smells good, clean and fresh. Not to drying but was good compliment for after color remover.

I am very happy with this shampoo. Despite being called "detox", it's surprisingly gentle on my hair, leaving it soft & clean without any drying effects. I have fine hair that gets weighed down easily with products, and this worked very well for removing a build up of dry shampoo and some other light styling products (mostly the dry shampoo).It also didn't irritate my scalp or skin at all, so although it seems to be great for sensitive skin/scalps.It worked best with 2 shampoos in a row, as the first one didn't seem to remove enough product build up. One shampoo would be fine if you don't use a lot of product, but you definitely need 2 lathers to get the best results. That might made it seem to not last as long as other shampoos, but it's worth it to not end up with dried out hair. It's still concentrated, not watery, so don't let the 2 washes scare you away, just be sure to try it to get the best result.I was disappointed when I tried ColorProof moisture shampoo & conditioner, which seemed to dry out my hair instead of moisturizing it. This detox shampoo is less drying. I don't know which conditioner is meant to go with this shampoo, so I wish they had a matching conditioner.

This product works well, and very cleansing. Lives up to name that it works well with my colored blonde hair. However the smell is quite honestly rancid. It smells like musty flowers, and it lasts very long. Just keep it in mind.

This stuff is great. My daughter had non planned dreads and got really dry. I used this shampoo on her and it got out the junk and loosened the dreads up. I do recommend buying two for hard jobs because once you get things loosened up the first time you’ll want to clean area again to help the hair you weren’t able to saturate the first time

I really love this. I use it once a week with the Nioxin conditioner. Its my best hair day all week. I use a different, moisturizing shampoo the rest of the week. My hair weaved with bleach and low lights. I have fine hair but a lot of it so it tends to get weighed down if I'm not carefully. It can also be very flyaway and dry looking. This removes all of the styling products I use from my hair without drying it out or making it look dry, frizzy, or flyaway. The only clarifying shampoo I will use from now on.

I love this shampoo! I use it every time I was my hair, prior to using Olaplex shampoo and conditioner per the recommendation of my stylist. . A little goes a long way and this bottle has lasted me almost an entire year which makes it a huge value. I have a lob with a lot of hair for reference. I also color my hair every six weeks due to gray and this has kept my scalp and hair feeling healthy and naturally volumized. I also have extremely sensitive skin and this has caused no issues. Great smell too!

Of course everyone recommended this product and I bought it but it dries my hair and I need a strong conditioner now — which I’m still on the hunt for.

This shampoo is outstanding! Like other reviewers say, a little does go a long way so even though this bottle is very small it lasts a long time. Its much better than other popular deep cleaning shampoos so the price is worth it.

Hair feels cleaner but my scalp burnt when I applied the conditioner after using the shampoo. Smells fantastic and my hair does feel cleaner, I may have just had a bad reaction to it but I don't know if it removed old residues as my hair was more tangled afterwards.
