Hands down the greatest solar flood light we’ve found!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. These lights are amazing! We have several solar motion lights and this it by far the best. We use it for additional light to our Ring Spotlight and it’s impact is intense. The range, timing and retention of solar charge are phenomenal. The video starts with no light, then the Ring Spotlight then BAH-BAM this solar light detects motion.

Ambient light interference
This is my first review ever. But I am writing it because I think I have found something from which potential buyers might benefit. After installing the lighting system, I appreciated the fact that I had the ability to position the light so that I could point the lights toward my target and position the solar panel in a different direction. The cord was ample in length to do that. Also, the lights are very bright. But here's the problem!!!! After installing and testing everything out, it didn't work. My bad !! I didn't realize that the extensive decorative lighting system around my house was creating a problem for this system. What to do????? After much head scratching, I sought to cut down on the light which entered the sensor to give it the appearance of having a darker surrounding. I finally hit upon the idea of putting Scotch tan packaging tape over the sensor to trick it. After some trial and error, I discovered that the tape not be placed directly on the sensor, but instead, be positioned on the frame which surrounds the sensor. But will this trick allow the motion detector to work through the tape. Lo and behold, it did. So now the system works perfectly in a significant ambient lighting situation where it should not. I am now extremely happy with this product.

Let there be light!
Plenty of light. Initial cost is the final cost thanks to that fat old sun.

Great for the front of my 2-stall horse barn with overhang
I opted for solar lights after my poor vet made a late evening visit and we lost daylight while she was trying to find medications in her trunk. My horse barn has a 30'x12' overhang in the front of stalls which gets very dark at night. Interior lights are insufficient for maneuvering around in the front to feed and clear up. I selected this unit because the solar panel comes with a cord, which allowed my lovely hubby to install the panel on the exterior away from prying noses and in direct sunlight, then run the cord around the post to the interior underneath level of the roof to place the fixture where needed most. No need to connect lights to the existing system which was a cost-savings and an additional safety precaution against electric fires - plus, no electricity bill with the solar powered units. The battery came with a little charge so we could easily adjust our settings during daylight installation, which I opted for highest sensitivity level for 30 seconds. All we needed was a drill for this. If the light switches off all you move is a hand while staying in place and it lights back up - that's the sensitive mode on high setting. I might adjust it to 60 seconds for feeding and blanketing at night. My son helps in the barn too, so while I can feel around blankets and feed buckets I know he has the extra light for chores and his safety. The horses always have access to the barn from one of the fields, so during the night they will set it off but it's only for a minute. The lights are adjustable so I angled them to reach the furthest distance and maximize the width of beam and intensity which is more than sufficient for this area. As soon as you round the corner, they light up. I can pick hooves, travel without tripping over the barn cats, read blanket labels, count eggs and see well enough to get all barn chores completed safely. Another reason for this choice was to deter unwanted critters in the barn area such as raccoons and opossums which have attacked my fly-eating chickens. It's too early to tell if they are staying away because the lights just went up this week, but it's better than before. So far, very happy with the light.

Great Product - ZERO issues
I just bought the Mar 2019, I have to say that any previous issues with this product have been fixed. All the screws were the same size and provided, the mounting template was easy to install, and the product works as expected. The LED’s are good quality and so is the solar panel as I have had no issues with illumination even on busy nights with the timer set to 120S. The only thing I would say is I had to remove the bracket for the solar panel to install it correctly. This is because there just isn’t enough clearance for my big hands and the screw driver to or power drill to put in the mounting screws. This removal was super easy though, only needed to loosen the 2 screws holding the mounting bracket together on the solar panel, install the bracket and simply reinstall the 2 screws that hold the bracket together. Easy-peasey.

Super Bright
I had purchased a different brand of lights that were bright but only covered a small portion of my driveway and the motion sensing was ok. I bought this motion sensing light because it had three solid reviews. I'm glad I did because the motion sensing is great and it covers all of my driveway and is twice as bright.

Great Product!
This is a very bright floodlight, with a lot of adjustment of the two lights. I bought this one to replace one by another maker. The other one gave me about 5 years of good service, until the plastic broke down from sunlight and let water in. I plan to wipe this one down occasionally with a UV protection product to extend the service life. In the motion sensor mode, it will give bright light, when needed, over a long period of overcast days.
