As a big Conor fan, I knew I was going to enjoy Desaparecidos 2nd LP (the first being 13 years ago), but it has blown away all expectations. Hallmark amazing lyrics. Gotta be in top 5 releases of 2105

２作目。
前作からおよそ１３年ぶりとなるブライトアイズのコナー・オバースト率いるエモ、パンクバンドの２作目。全体的に前作よりポップになった印象。ブライトアイズの活動休止は知っていたので、作品のトーン自体も落ち着いていくのかと思っていた矢先、エモーショナルな作品が聴けて嬉しい。曲によっては今や懐かしい絶叫も聴ける。断続的に発表されたシングル曲とアルバム収録曲に完成度の違いがあるのは若干気になるが、ファズの効いたギターリフに、ポップに味付けするキーボード、そしてコナーの声があれば、そんなことは取るに足らないことかも。前作が気に入ってる方は買いです。歌詞も前作同様多分に政治的な内容を含んでいるよう。今度は日本盤が出なさそうなのが残念でならない。
