Usually a M in women's (US). I probably would lean towards your actual size since the Large was swimming in the arms, enough so that I think a bathing suit top would be fine under a M. The main reason I returned without trying a medium size is the material. It is labeled as raglan, which is more of a cotton t-shirt material than the typical bathing suit material. It is fairly soft, but right out of the bag there were a few 'picks' where the material was pulled. Any scratchy surface would be a problem (like pulling yourself out of an in-ground pool or a jumping dog). And it was just a touch thinner than I expected a rash guard to be, but certainly not super thin. Regardless, not for me.

Given the previous reviews that reflected the size ran much smaller to the body than expected, I automatically just ordered a larger size than my usual (*without* referencing to the SIZE GUIDE further down the page). Once I'd received the item and tried it on myself, that larger size was truly much BIGGER than I needed! Given so, I returned the original and ordered the actual size that I usually do (and also viewed the SIZE GUIDE) and it thankfully fits exactly as it needed to. Therefore, the size listing was actually legitimate for me! :*-D

This is a very nice, pretty shirt. I am in the water 5 days a week and worry about sun burn. This shirt is a loose fit but is also soft to the touch. Think I will enjoy wearing it in the pool.

I love the floral pattern. The only reason I gave it 4 stars not 5 is because the neckline is very high. I am not sure how I feel about the sensation of the fabric on my neck.

Like it-but, it is too large. I have spent so much time trying to read reviews and figure out sizes on amazon? Very difficult to order-

I don’t like the material, is kind of see through, it has tiny holes in it like a sport top for men? I don’t feel confident going out wearing this. Returns have been difficult lately so I’ll give it to my nemesis. Seriously thinking about not buying anymore clothes on Amazon.

I love the combination of the color with flowers in shoulders and sleeves but the neck is so close round neck seems choking not comfortable in hot weather. Maybe a little loose or V neck is better.

I have never had anything made of this material. I wasn't sure what to expect. I was thinking it would be too clingy and damp for a period of time. It was neither. I lent it to my sister and she loved it. She did give it back. Good deal!
