3d printers friend
I have recently discovered making large prints in smaller sections and using these titanium rods as a press fit. You can also use aluminum. We are doing our own forms of testing on strength, but you might be surprised by how strong a couple of these rods can make plastic. They also work great when you want to print pieces that would print better in a different orientation, then flipped for assembly.

Exactly what they said it was... Solid rod
I'm only writing this review so that people will know that as of this date, at least the rods I ordered were all solid as advertised (contrary to what another reviewer said they received). I have been cutting these rods into 1-inch lengths, for a special electrolysis project, and so far all have been solid.

Nice Ti rods, slightly oversized for precision fit.
I used these for hinge-pins for a RC drift carโs suspension arms. I created 4 pieces 46mm in length and two pieces 27mm in length with a notch in the middle for a set screw. They are indeed solid, stiff and light. They are quite hard, and slightly difficult to machine with hand tools. To cut them i used my Dremel with a cutoff wheel, then changed to a sanding drum to flatten the ends. I used my dial-caliper to check length and chucked them into my drill with a wrap of masking tape. I spun them and took off a little material at a time until the correct length was achieved. The only reason they get a 4-star instead of 5 is that they are actually oversized a bit at about 3.04mm diameter. This required chucking them into the drill again and sanding them down - very time consuming. It was an interesting experience, and I am satisfied with the results. However, for my next build, Iโll probably just order stock steel hinge-pins.

Definitely titanium
Use it as anodizing rods for aluminum and is definitely acid and anodizing resistant

Titanium, sure, but not grade 5
Almost certain this isn't grade 5 as it did not anodize like grade 5 does. It is titanium, and it is solid (I cut it in half to check), but again, pretty sure it's grade 1 (it anodized the exact same as the grade 1 wire I was using, unlike the TC4 knives)
