TOAKSTitanium Spoon

I have an optimus folding titanium, a long handled toaks with the non-smooth spoon area, and lots of plastic spoons and this is by far the best of them. It's lightweight, durable, and about the same size as a tablespoon you routinely use.The smooth surface is key. Without it it feels like sandpaper and you never feel like you get all the food off of it.

I take this to work every day to eat my lunch with. It’s a great spoon that actually allows me to eat quicker. And It’s easy to clean with a simple rinse.

We bought this as a baby toy not as a camping tool. And I highly recommend it as such. If you’re a parent, you know how much the really little kiddos (think 6-12 months) *love* spoons. They will soon figure out how to toss the spoon on the floor. Once on the floor you need a new spoon! After a particularly memorable trip to a pizza joint that resulted in no fewer than ten spoon-based lessons in the law of gravity, I thought there had to be a better way. In my halcyon days of an outdoorsman, pre-parenthood, I remember titanium spoons with holes to conveniently attach string, ‘biners, whatever.So with a bit of string and a pacifier clip, we created a lightweight, easy to travel with spoon that can’t be thrown to the ground! Very reusable. Always in our diaper bag. The carrying case is a huge plus, as it not only keeps it clean in the bag but it’s also bright orange, making it easy to find between clothing, diapers, and crumbs from last week’s snack. Lightweight makes it super easy to throw in my wife’s purse or even a pocket or backpack for quick jaunts. Endless hours of amusement for your “LO”.Highly recommend it!

Was looking for a full sized spoon for backpacking, don't like the titanium folding spoons and growing tired of the spork. I really like the polished bowl and find this spoon to be perfect for general backpacking use. The length allows me to use the spoon for cooking tasks and a nice compromise between the compact spoons and the long handle spoons.

It’s a nice spoon. It’s good for someone who likes the shorter length and chooses durability and mouth-feel over weight savings. Weighs about the same as my long handle titanium spoon, so haven’t decided if this is a go or not, but the quality is temping me away from weight saving.

I wouldn't call it ultralight though. I believe it's only two grams lighter than just one of my regular stainless steel soup spoons I have at home that I have been using until now! Oh well, I am not returning it, at least I'm saving two more grams

A good, generic titanium spoon. Polished bowl, nicely shaped - not too deep, not too wide or narrow. I actually have several that I use for taking to work.
