Our dishwasher wouldn't drain. Replaced the old pump with this one, and now the dishwasher drains again.Note, the pump we received is different from the picture, and different from the old pump. The old pump and the one in the picture have two permanently-connected white wires, but the received pump doesn't. Also, the old pump had a heavy piece of metal attached and the new one doesn't. However, the new pump does work well.No instructions are included but the install is pretty straightforward. YouTube videos typically have you try to access the pump from under the dishwasher, but I found it was easier to kill power, turn off water, disconnect supply+drain, then pull out the dishwasher and put it on its side.Initially I thought the wiring clip from the dishwasher wouldn't fit into the new pump, but then I found a cable that did. Not sure whether it was included with the new pump or if I'd taken it off of the dishwasher while disassembling. I did have to turn the cable around the opposite way to get it to plug in, vs. how the old pump was connected.

Fit my ~2018 GE Dishwasher model GDT655SMJ2ES. Appears to be an exact OEM replacement part. Didn't need the "Ultra Fine" filter, but this was the version that could be delivered most quickly to fix my dishwasher. Included the correct clamps, and a couple of large clamps that I didn't need (and I don't even know where they would fit.) Fairly easy to replace, if you have the service manual. But why did the original pump fail after less than two years of less than daily use?

Drain pump installed in ten minutes, after getting the built-in dishwasher from under the cabinet. To bad GE just didn't just make the hose come the pump. 68.99 for a rubber hose water leak!!!

This saved me hundreds of dollars. There was a video out here on how to replace it. It took me all of an hour to swap out the pump and I was all set.

Did not fit wrong plug

No packaging, small part in a big box. Not a kit, just the pump with no converter wire or clamps or anything else from the picture.
