Excellent for Standardized tests and beyond...
Regardless of whether English is your strong subject, this book will definitely help you better your grip of the English language. I personally found this material helpful since I discovered that many words that I frequently use mean something different when the context surrounding the word is changed. As an aspiring professional, it is crucial that I continue to refine my use of vocabulary, and this book allows me just that. Moreover, I enjoy that there is a practice/exercise method to learning, as opposed to simply making statements. K. Jonathan allows the reader to work alongside the book, instead of just following along. If your goal is to get better in English Vocabulary, or simply improve your reading and writing, this book will help you accomplish that!

Great vocabulary guide
This is a comprehensive, well-organized study guide to learn vocabulary that could likely be on standardized tests like PSAT, COOP, TACHS or HSPT or even other test for Middle/High School students. Lots of other vocabulary guides will give you the basics: word, definition, part of speech, maybe a sample sentence. This guide has that, but then takes it to another level – each word expands into a section called “Further Information”. This section gives additional ways to remember the vocabulary word much more deeply, such as word origin and other words that share the same root. All in all, a wonderful vocabulary-building tool!
