This item far exceeded my expectations. I originally ordered it for my sister, but thought I'd test it out. Now I want one for myself! May have to keep it and order her another one. It works perfect and I'm so excited as neither of our dashboards supported a suction or vent mount. This is brilliant. And the price is more than reasonable. Makes a perfect gift!

I like that this phone holder is adjustable on the base to fit any cupholder and in height. However, there have already been a couple of times that it popped out of the cupholder. But it was easy enough to readjust and place it back in. Once it's in, it's quite secure. The extendable arm is quite handy, also, to fit different drivers' heights. The only thing I didn't really like is that the phone holder area itself, though adjustable, doesn't turn fully--you have to remove the entire thing from the base to turn it to face a certain way. It also feels a bit flimsy whenever I have to change the angle.When I first opened the box with all the components disassembled, I wasn't sure this would be a good holder. Everything seemed like cheap plastic. But once I assembled them together and started using it in my car, I've had no complaints. But...I wouldn't pay full price for it. I would recommend getting it on a lightning deal or if the price goes down. Overall, I quite like this phone holder as I was looking for one with a long adjustable neck but didn't want the gooseneck ones that looked like they would shake while driving. This is a good buy on a deal.

I bought this for my girlfriend because she didn’t like her vent mount holder and she loves it. The placement allows her to see her phone when needed but not be distracted by it while driving. It’s easy to assemble and you simply turn the knob at the bottom to expand it into your cup holder. There is no rattling around and it securely holds tight to your phone. Note, however, I did try it in my car (Infiniti g37) before gifting- and because the cup holder is back near the driver- not forward near the console- and because the car has a strange rectangle shaped cup holder- it’s not a good match for that particular vehicle (but no car cup holder would be) However, it’s a great little holder and if you have a normal cup holder that is to the front of the driver, you will be very happy with this.

Great, sturdy easy to use and install phone mount. I got it for my Mini Cooper, as this car is so tiny and configured so compactly on the inside (deferent than other cars) the cup holder phone mount was my best bet to fit my phone/GPS in the car. The pole, that holds the phone, is super sturdy. The base fit my cup holder size perfectly, and is adjustable to many sizes. The clamps that hold the phone it self, also seem well made, so far no complains :)Overall, if you are looking for a cup holder phone mount, this is a great option for a fair price.

The bottom of the phone holder is too shallow and the top cannot be lowered enough to prevent it from being top heavy with phone in the cradle. This results in the phone rocking back and forth. As tightly as it can be adjusted, the entire assembly, including the phone, falls forward out of the cup holder during sudden braking. The cell phone then strikes the dashboard and the entire assembly strikes the console. The only positive was that the cell phone remained securely in its cradle with all rolling around on the floorboard. The seller was difficult to contact to discuss possible remedies and could only offer an "updated" version of the product, initially insisting on sending that version per cryptic texts. It appeared to be even more top heavy. I finally had to tell them not to contact me again and that I was returning the product through Amazon.

This is okay. I had high hopes for this phone car holder. But it does not hold an IPhone XR in the horizontal position very well. It goes crooked and does not hold it straight. Needs to be longer at the end to hold the phone up. The iPhone clamps have an automatic opener when you press the button on the back but you have to close it yourself to hold the phone and that is where it does not work well in the horizontal position. The clamps do not hold the phone tightly enough in the horizontal position when you use an app for directions. It needs to be corrected. Returning it.

I had researched different cup/phone holders and this one had good feedback so I bought it for my husband for Christmas. Unfortunately from the moment he un-wrapped it, the two sliding panels on the sides, would not stay in against the phone so that his cell phone fell out of the holder with nothing to hold it in place. He was disappointed because this was something that he had actually asked for for Christmas. It may be just that particular phone holder, because he said there was something wrong with the spring inside, but it was hard to tell exactly what was causing the problem.

I liked the concept but really should have thought it through. Being left handed, everything is in my way. But I didn’t give much attention to this as it was on my right. As I am the driver and the two cup holders are between the two front seats and the gearshift is as well, so the issue is with the whole concept. I can’t change gears without bumping into this phone mount. Given it’s not a stick shift, it still is a pain just driving a resting your arm bumping into it. In either cup holder, it just doesn’t work well.
