Exactly what I needed!
I recently fell on ice and broke my fibula...I knew I'd be in one of these once I was out of the hard cast and boot (I'd broken my other fibula several years ago), so I went ahead and ordered it. So glad I did! The same one from the ortho doctor was $125 (my insurance has a deductible on DME)!Anyway, this is working perfectly. For those that say you can "never get it to fit correctly" - you have to remember that the part that goes under your foot is adjustable. Once you get that right, it will be comfortable and supported.I love that it can also be chilled in the fridge or freezer to deal with any swelling. This would be excellent for treating a sprain. It fits in to both my hiking shoes and my sneakers....it will stretch them out eventually, so I purchased an extra pair of sneakers so I don't stretch out my good ones. This thing is a real ankle saver!

Very Comfortable,Sturdy and Helps pain!
I used this product and still do for a severe foot sprain. It was suggested to me by orthopedic doctor so I got it on Amazon. Graduated from a boot to this. I wear that brace over a sock with a running shoe on. It is comfortable, sturdy and works really great. Eases my pain and really helps the rehabilitation that I hear is so important. My physical therapist says they are very good to wear too. Easy to put on as well. I would only go for the Aircast brace for sure.

Tore first time playing basketball
The strap tore my first time playing basketball with it. Wasn't more than a few weeks old and in good condition up till that point.Cheap thin straps.

Best purchase for my injury
I fractured my fibula last month while out of town on a business trip, and, since it is a non weight bearing bone, no cast was necessary. Instead at the ER they gave me a boot to wear. I quickly learned that wasn't going to help because it made so off balance, I was afraid I was going to fall again. On a checkup visit with an orthopedic Dr, he again tried to get me in a boot that was "much better than what they give you in the ER", and I ended up going home with a knee caddy to help me get around.I purchased this stirrup brace on the advice of my chiropractor to help stabilize my ankle when I started walking on it. It has been a big help. On the latest visit to the orthopedic dr, he recommended an aircast since I went with an ace bandage on my foot. So his "staff" brought one in to fit it to me, and it was the exact same as this one only black. I asked what they would charge- $90!! Wonder why healthcare is so expensive???

Comfortable
Provided some helpful and comfortable support after I broke my ankle. Unfortunately I required surgery and wearing a boot for an extended period.Recommend if you just have a sprain.

Review on Aircast
I really like it I think it'll be great for sleeping it's comfortable it feels like it's supports both of my sides I have a fracture on my fibia I had to take off my cam Boot and trying to substitute it with something else and it seems so far good only thing is I'm not able to put my foot at a 90 degree angle so hopefully my fracture heals but for now the seems to be working..camp it was too heavy and it seemed like it was putting more strain on my ankle that's why I got the air cast

Ankle Support
My chiropractor recommended the brace for a displaced fracture. Only thing to remember is that you don't have full range of motion and if you wear it too long in your shoe, it's a bit uncomfortable. However, he price was right and did the job.

Effective for sprains
I sprained my ankle 6 days ago badly. Once swelling died down a bit, i needed a means of securing my ankle to prevent further injury. Honestly i didn't expect much, as it's such a small piece of equipment, but it was incredibly effective. It's incredibly easy to use, but do read the instructions to know how to adjust heel size. The moment that i put it on, 80% of mobility pain is gone. Absolutely recommended for sprain injuries.
