I wish I had more doors that needed one
A bit of a delay when someone rings the bell, but it functions exactly as intended. Haven't had to recharge it yet. The kids (and shorter adults) are able to see who is at the door without having to be tall enough to actually look through the hole. The picture is clear and has a decent angle. You may need to drill a larger hole if you are replacing certain regular peep holes.

No motion detector, but power on and photo is good
Easy to install, good quality, good daytime view. Night vision not so much. Works well.

Not quite enough wide-angle for my door, but it works.
Motion detection is in the review ratings- is it a motion detection camera? Not to the best of my knowledge. The visitor has to press a button (which on my door peep-hole they can't reach) or I have to press a button to see when someone knocks. My door is relatively high off the ground & I don't have a porch, just front steps. If someone is standing at the bottom of the steps, this camera won't 'see' them. I tried turning the camera vertically, which fixes the door-step problem, but then I cant' see my driveway. I got it at a really cheap price, I wouldn't spend the current $48.99 price for it. It was easy to install & does the job, mostly. I'll probably be looking in the future for a model more suited to my high-off-the-ground peephole.

Average value for average product
It’s okay—and that’s it. You get what you pay for with this one. I will say, though, it probably won’t work for you if there’s a lot of direct light in your door, as the camera is VERY prone to overexposure

Great doing the day.
Overall I like it. The only issue I have is at night the house across the street from me has a bright outside light that distorts my whole view so all I can see is the light.

Very Disappointed
I didn't expect top of the line performance but I expected more than mediocre to useless. If there was to much sun the image was hazy. To much backlight at night the image wasn't definable. Last but not least after a month the doorbell would randomly ring. So save your money, time, and energy. Oh and I'd previously had a different brand with the same features and in the same price range and it lasted for almost two years with EXCELLENT day and night imagining. If it was still available I would have gotten another one.

Awesome
So far I lv it does what I wanted. It's worth the money so easy to install.

no wireless capability as advertised in description...
I got this one because it says wireless and smartphone compatible in the first descriptors given on the product. I went so far as to have the maintenance people at my apartment drill the correct size of hole for this in the door and install it to discover now that it doesn't have wireless capability and if you go down deeper into the description there is one mention saying it doesn't have wireless. This is pretty upsetting to get this far and now not have the key feature I was after in the first place. It's fine in a dim hallway, and other reviews are correct that you cannot see the floor, so again, limited visibility. I am not sure what good the photo element is without wireless, but at least at bare minimum, I can now see who is at my door if they are directly in front of the camera. I am not planning on keeping this and am pretty upset Amazon doesn't verify this stuff or respond when customers point out the discrepancies.
