The jug inside black colour spots have developed we cleaned it but still spots keep increasing. Is it dangerous to consume the water.

Actually it's poor quality product, we also stopped using it after a while. If you have cleaned it with lemon or tamarind then it should not be black/dark. Having said that it is coated with lacquer inside to prevent it from oxidising before sale. The lacquer should wear out with some use and I am just guessing this could be causing some problems. I had also asked the seller to confirm if the lacquer was food grade or not - no reply from them. So, to cut the long story short - I don't think it's harmful if cleaned everyday with lemon or tamarind...
