NDS 118-10 Pro-Span PVC Expansion Repair Coupling, For Broken or Cracked In-Ground PVC Pipes, 1-Inch IPS Slip X Spigot, White

Very easy to use, fixed my leak and it was WAY easier than I thought it would be. It did not come with directions of any kind, but after watching a 3 minute YouTube video installing was not an issue. Only time will tell on the quality and durability but it seems very well made. All I can attest to is there were absolutely no leaks after installing. On the video it just said to make sure it is extended fully. Let me tell you, for less than $8 it was money well spent.

Love these repair sleeves! So far no negative comments with my original repair in the ground for over 3-years (and shallow might I add so zero-turn and my small 30 hp tractor routinely drives over). I now maintain a selection for the pipes I have in the ground of 3/4” and 1” sprinkler piping. Benefits: - reduced labor - since the sleeve allows for bridging the gap of a broke section, I do not have to open as much ground as I did with using a collar or installation of a union (which I have had leaks from due to running over the ground after repairs to pack it down - reliable - see note above as I was concerned about kinking, roots, etc causing the sleeve to leak around the sliding seals but solid as a rock so far - cost effective - I prefer this due to the above comments although the collar is always cheaper but I had to open 3-4 feet of hole on either side of the break and closely estimate the cutting length before pulling the pipe up in an arc to gain enough clearance to slide the pipe fitting(s) onto the repaired section. Hope that makes sense?

When you have a broken pvc pipeline this is the easiest, simplest, quick and quality fix ever! I keep 4 on hand.

Works just as described very easy

Fast easy fix when your underground pipe breaks… or you accidentally break it! This thing slides to easily connect to the other side of the break! Once repaired they will last indefinitely. A solution for an often not so good situation!

I used this to make it easy to tee off of a sprinkler line. No leaks and easy to install.

a good fix for pipe in the ground had to do some sanding for 2 inch pipe to fit into 2 inch connector but seems to work

No instructions come with it. Installed as per website instructions. Leaked after allowing glue to dry. Contacted manufacturer and asked about the proper positioning of expansion piece. They say it should be at mid travel, no where is that discussed anywhere I looked. Who recommended using if downstream of solenoid valve incase of leak.

We were so excited to find this product. Working in a tight space, this seemed to be the answer. Unfortunately it leaks. We did order a second one hoping we just got a lemon. I will let you know how the second one goes.
