Lishman's Organic Psychiatry - a Textbook of Neuropsychiatry [Hardcover]

fantastic review of organic psychiatry. Am using this book as a PGY 2 resident in Psychiatry training with hopes to complete a consultation psychiatry fellowship after residency. Was recommended by a clinical faculty mentor and I have not been disappointed. Would highly recommend.

Missing any discussion of neuroanatomy.

I was reticent at first. The editors and authors have large shoes to fill, but they accomplish this admirably and in the process manage to update a classic. This is a must for psychiatrists and neurologists.The newly released soft cover edition is a steal.

Phenomenal review of neuropsychiatry. In-depth discussions of pathophysiology and presentation, with well-chosen case vignettes. Best of all: For such a momentous tome, it was a surprisingly good read (cover to cover). Hats off to the English for delivering this masterpiece.

Had an old edition of this text.Needed some current education on brain injury and neuro degenerative disease. This book gave me that. Well written. I recommend it .

Excellent book. Not a recent edition, but it covers everything that I need.
