This is a poorly-designed and cheaply-manufactured product. The main issue is that between the metal rod and metal seat bracket is piece of plastic that holds them all together. You can't tighten the set screw too much or the plastic will crack, but it needs to be tightened much more than is possible because otherwise the metal rod is free to move inside the plastic piece it sits in. Whatever phone you mount on this is going to wiggle back and forth until it breaks completely.

Works. IT is stronng but does wobble a little. I have it bolted to the seat bolt, then bent down and runs along the floor and mid console then bends up along the lower center consol. Seems sturdy

I would say expect the plastic at the bottom of the armed fail if you attempt to adjust it. It should have never been made of plastic. Otherwise very useful.
