I bought these for a large table I was welding together, and they're now my go-to for magnetic fixtures when I need to make 90* angles. They're very strong, and long enough to get a pretty good alignment for corners. Definitely a must-have tool in my welding kit.

Very strong magnet, I mostly use it to fish for loose hardware on the floor of my shop. The hole is useful for tying string to let it dangle.

You'll either learn a few methods to use them or hang them up in frustration. When brining two pieces together it's easy to misalign them and a chore to move them because of the strength of the magnet. Once you get your mojo with them however they are strong enough to use a a partial jig. Just a tiny bit of frustration in the beginning turns into a loving relationship shortly after. Sorta like marriage.

I used for Metals project not bad but the problem is that absorbs too mach Iron filings

First of all if you're grinding or welding this thing will pickup every piece of metal.Second you can't just put it where you want it you have to slide it over. It sticks to everything.Third if you need a magnet that's going to hold this is the one. I use this in a industrial fab 10 he a day of grinding and welding.The biggest downside is your work buddies will want to use it all the time. Other than that it's worth every penny you pay. Might as well order 3 or 4 now and get it over with. If NOT you will later.
