The Tripod of My Dream
I am not a professional photographer so I had no clue how to choose the best tripod, so I ordered this one without big expectations, was just following my intuition and good reviews. But when I received it, oh boy I was pleasantly surprised. Starting with how small it looked in bag, in the beginning I was doubting if was my order. 72 inch tripods usually are heavier and more massive, so compactability is a huge plus. Quality and stunning colour of tripod, Bluetooth button, smartphone’s holder, quick release plate - you get so many extras that are very handy! As a 6 feet tall person and an amateur who loves to arrange photo shoots for myself, I was struggling for so long with short tripod that I had. Always trying to adjust things to make them work, being on the knees or using chair to make a short tripod longer, when I saw how long can Victiv’s tripod be extended to - I was so satisfied! Finally I can make pictures of myself without suffering from my height in the process, finally I can be sure that I can have any angle I want to have! This feels like such a freedom for my creativity, can’t wait to make a new photo shoot with this one! Other interesting and super cool feature is that you have 2 in 1, monopod is such a great tool and damn it is so long! There is a hook on the bottom for making your tripod more stable by putting some weight. Carrying strap is comfortable way to move your tripod. And rubber foot of tripod are very sturdy! Overall it is a well-designed product, that worth its money. I am highly recommending this tripod to anyone who prioritises comfort in their life. You won’t be disappointed! 10/10

Awesome tripod & monopod combo at an awesome price
Inbox content = Tripod/monopod combo, 2 quick release plates with standard size screw, Bluetooth shutter remote for phones, phone mount(it can't mount tablets), carry bag. I used to own a different, very cheap, and very flimsy tripod before which broke(obviously). Then a friend of mine recommended this tripod. It was on an offer when I bought it for 43.55 GBP incl shipping and hence this review may not fit if bought at a higher price. Tripod itself is very stable and sturdy which is due to the self-leveling rubber feet. The tilt, rotate & turn axis are a little stiff but I believe they should be to avoid slips. The sponge grip is on only 1 leg but still better than not having it on any. The maximum height is really good. Great stability with the max weight that I used which is around 4kg so far. Keep in mind the center of gravity when using at max height as that changes a lot of factors. Overall I am really happy with my purchase.

Worth what I paid for
I have not gotten the opportunity to thoroughly use the product however there are many positive attributes to it. Considering it is made from aluminium it is rather sturdy whilst still reaping the benefit of being lightweight. This combined with the case it comes with means that it is easy to bring with me to a shoot without being a noticeable hindrance. The monopod is a useful feature and does not compromise the tripod at all, however, the system of twisting and locking is a little bit fidgety although not enough to cause concern at all. Whilst a common thing for most tripods. the removable plate is a great addition especially for someone who is doing active shoots. Overall I believe that this tripod is, so far, worth the price and whilst it isn't the tripod that a photographer might use for life (say more than a year or two) it is definitely a good investment with little comeback for a limited budget.

Sturdy and well made tripod
Probably shallow to say this, but my favourite thing about this tripos is the colour, I chose orange, it really stands out. Conservative black is available! But moving on... first impressions were, it's tall - much higher than my old tripod, which is great. Even at its tallest it is very stable, the feet are excellent and the whole thing is rock solid. The up and down, side to side and landscape/portrait adjustments are very smooth, and there a wee spirit level to check you're roughly horizontal. There's a hook to weigh it all down which admittedly looks plastic and break-offable, but only time will tell. My old tripod, which I bought over 30 years ago (and cost twice as much) has given good service, but looks pretty ordinary next to this thing - though it did have one feature, a windy thing for making the horizontal top tube go up and down, that I miss on this new one. However, the offset to that is the 'hidden' monopod that emerges, a real bonus. Talking of which, you get two quick release plates and a holder for a mobile phone, which is very sturdy and useful. To end, the locking mechanisms on the legs feel well designed, and there's a centre locking brace which helps keep the whole thing very stiff. Oh, and there's a nice handle to carry it with which folds away neatly, and it comes in a bag which to be honest could do with being an inch bigger in all directions. Overall, for the money I'm very pleased.

A very good spec. tripod at a low budget price.
Very pleased with this product. It manages to be both compact and substantial : when folded it's compact and when extended it has a very substantial range of height. Even fully extended it maintains a good level of sturdiness. The big bonuses are of course it having the monopod option (it really does only take a few seconds to dispatch!) and the spare shoe mount. The flip locks on the legs are all of a good size which means the levering action of locking/unlocking them doesn't cause any undue strain which could otherwise lead to the plastic failing. The head is nice and solid and the panning action is properly smooth, not even the tiniest hint of juddering, as is the tilting. Overall, great value without much in the way of compromise on quality.

Great, reasonably priced tall tripod
Leg locks are very positive. The head works well but obviously isn’t fluid damped but the mechanical stiffness has good adjustments in horizontal and vertical planes. Very handy feature is the monopod which although I didn’t buy it for this reason, I can see me using this a lot. I’m using the tripod with a camcorder for recording some wildlife. The height is just perfect for me. It came supplied with 2 bases for attaching camera to tripod so you have a spare or can leave them on 2 cameras. I think this tripod is excellent value for money for the enthusiast rather than the professional who would easily spend 10x on a tripod without a head!
