EZ-Freeze Cereal on the Go (Colors May Vary)

This cute little container is absolutely perfect for taking cereal and milk with me to work. I add my cereal and fruit to the bowl on the top and my milk of choice to the bottom and I have everything I need for breakfast. The top "bowl" easily holds a half cup of cereal plus a half cup of fruit and the bottom holds about 4 oz of milk. Those who are complaining that it is too small are probably used to eating well over one serving of cereal. I am trying hard to keep my portions in control and this container helps me to do that. I usually just fill the container the night before and leave it in the fridge overnight because I eat it right after I arrive at work and don't want to have frozen milk. The milk is cold from the gel having been refrigerated.It is also great for carrying yogurt and fruit or cereal toppings to go with it.And there is no mess if you use it correctly. Remove the cereal lid, take out the spoon, unscrew the cereal bowl and place it on the inverted lid..then add your milk. Any milk that may have splashed onto the bottom of your bowl is not on your desk...it is in the lid.And for those who are concerned, I checked their website and this product is BPA free.

Good product because it has the obvious 2 compartments that screw together to keep to food items apart from eachother (milk/cereal)but i wish they held more and also liguid drips out of the second compartment when you unscrew & screw it back together (unfixable i presume, it splashes when u travel with it obviously.) also comes with spoon.does the job.

I love this thing! I use it to take cereal to work. I have not had any problems with the milk leaking. Sometimes the milk gets slightly frozen, so I've started taking the container out of the freezer about 30 minutes before I leave for work and it stays cold but doesn't freeze the milk. The cereal compartment is a little bit small, but it's a good portion if you are trying to eat healthy. It holds about 1 cup of Cheerios, which seems small but it's the serving size on the box. I know that this thing is probably made for kids, but I've found it very handy. It is very easy to wash by hand so I can use it every day.

It sounds like a great idea . . . but it's not well executed. The gel in the bottom part of the container is so cold that the milk comes out in frozen lumps when we get to school. And the lid to the top part -- that holds dry cereal and then serves as the bowl -- is a snap-on, not watertight. So unless your child is a stickler for emptying the thing out completely after breakfast, you can expect spilled milk in her backpack every afternoon. The spoon is flimsy, but kind of usable -- the "cool" factor outweighs the fact that it's too shallow to eat cereal with (at least for my four year-old). All in all, it could use a redesign.

Product works well enough keeping milk cold and cereal crisp, but the sizes of the two containers seems off to me. Because of the thickness of the gel-cooled milk container, it hardly holds any milk. Certainly not enough to cover the much larger volume of cereal in the top container. Only used once for cereal. Maybe I will use it for fruit on the bottom and granola on top instead.

This is really cheaply made and I am quite disappointed in it. The plastic is flimsy, the sizes of the milk holder and the bowl for cereal are very small, the spoon looks like it will break the first time you use it. I bought this for my preschooler, who has dysphagia, and cereal is about the only thing he'll eat. So I figured I'd use this to bring food for him when we're out. I'll try it, but I don't think I'll be using it long, especially since I have to hand wash it. I'm also kicking myself for not checking if it is BPA free (packaging doesn't say it is). Use your money in a more useful way and get a nice cooler bag, some Rubbermaid bowls and drink containers, and a couple of small blue freezer packs. You can use those over and over and for different purposes, plus put the containers in the dishwasher. Wish I'd just decided to do to that in the first place and not spent money on this set.

I first saw this at my local Rite-Aid and thought it was a really cool idea. But the purchase price seemed absurd. I can't remember what it was, but it was enough for me to pass it by and wish it were cheaper. I then decided to see if it could be found on Amazon (seems like everything can be found on here!). It was cheaper, and with Amazon Prime, I got free shipping. So it was a done deal.I use this for Kashi crunch cereal and Fage yogurt. It works great! It's very handy to toss in my lunchbag for work. Granted, I have a fridge, so don't really need the freezing part on the bottom. But I use it anyway so that I know for sure my dairy stays fresh between home and work. I measure my food for calorie tracking, but the portions I measured out fit perfectly in each compartment, so I don't even have to measure anymore. This is the perfect size for me.

I put my cereal and milk in it at night and then stick it in my lunchbox so I don't have to worry about making breakfast (or lunch) in the mornings. Since I already have to be at class at 8, not having to wake up even earlier to make breakfast is awesome, and I won't have to worry about skipping breakfast to not be late.This thing fits in my lunch bag great, and after my 30 minute bus ride to campus the milk isn't frozen at all. It hasn't leaked or anything (although it is always upright in my lunch bag). The portion size is just perfect for me (currently eating shredded wheat, which is pretty filling).You don't get to pick your color -- I got green which happens to match my lunch bag so I'm really happy about it!
