ShinHanWatercolor Palette 24 Colors

Its a bit hard to open..but it serves well for my watercolors and transports easily.

Just started using this palette and like it so far. It does bead a bit as shown in the picture but not nearly as bad as all of the other palettes I’ve had and I’m expecting the beading will go away shortly with use.I chose this palette based on the amount of mixing space and so far it’s been great. Also the wells have a texturized bottom (pictured after first use) which holds the paint in the wells great so far, the wells also have a lip at the top to wipe excess paint off on so less wasted paint.

Pallet is extremely difficult to open.

This palette is slightly flimsy and is hard to open. I do really like the design of the pans though with the slight raised edge to run your brush on. I will us this at my studio. Not a travel palette as my colors keep popping loose.

Like these watercolor paint a lot they are so creamy and vibrant lots of really nice colors.

This palette is exactly as advertised and it's generally okay. But I'm not in love with it and am going to keep looking. I'm sharing some photos here just to give other potential buyers a better view of it - especially in comparison to my old palette, one of those typical 18-well travel sizes ones.The main thing I didn't like about the palette was the plastic material it's made of. It feels quite brittle and it's extremely thin and light (like there wasn't much plastic used when the palette was molded). Given the clasp design does make it a little tricky to open (something many other reviewers have already mentioned), I imagine there's some risk the hinges could weaken and potentially break at some point in the future.In all other aspects, the palette is decent. I like its portable design and the generously sized mixing areas. This palette is probably best suited for someone who won't be offput by the plastic material and intends to use it as a stationary studio palette.

Very pleased with this palette. It’s sturdy, easy to clean and I like the way the wells are to allow the paint to be drawn out into the mixing area. Thank you!

The media could not be loaded. Didn't get a full five stars because some areas where I'm guessing I didn't scrub enough still bead and this pallet is a bit tricky to open. There's a trick to opening it that's makes it easier though. Other then that I love the large mixing wells and dips for your paint to go.
