Love this! Plugged in my outdoor Christmas lights. Now I can turn them on and off from inside. Easy and convenient.

We bought this to add a remote to our outdoor fountain and it has worked great. One of the problems we had with the first 2 we bought was the plug was a flat plug which is great for most situations but for outdoor outlets that have the cover, the flat plugs don't fit. This one worked great. Even better, after we plugged it in, it lays a little behind the brick wall we have but the remote still works great from across the yard. I was afraid we would have to get close to turn it on and off, but it works great. Highly recommend.

This wireless remote outlet is an excellent product and works great! I have a medium pump attached to a fountain in my landscape and this wireless remote allows me to turn it on & off at will from inside my house. The remote appears to have great range and function every time I press the on/off button without extra pushes and that is from about 50 feet away. While I use this for the water pump it obviously would work well for other uses such as lighting, both permanent, like patio lights, and temporary such as holiday lights. The outlet is grounded and has a hanger capability for extra safety and is built very well. I don't think you could beat this for the price.

I’ve had the DEWENWILS Outdoor Wireless Remote Control Outlet for a few weeks now, and overall I’m pretty happy with it. Here’s how it worked out for me. What I Like • Convenience at its best — Plugging stuff in, then being able to switch lights/decor from inside the house without stepping outside in rain or cold? Big win. • Good range — The remote works through walls, so I can be inside and still turn on the string lights on my porch without going out. They say 100 ft and it seems realistic in my setup with one wall in between. • Weatherproof build — The outlet plug is solid. The case feels sturdy, and so far it’s held up to a few light showers with no issues. • Strong power rating — For what I use it (lights, some small outdoor decor), it has handled everything without flickering, overheating, or causing nuisance trips. • Easy setup — Plug-in, insert the included battery in remote, that’s about it. No fuss. What Could Be Better / Things to Watch Out For • Face-down orientation recommended — To avoid water exposure, it needs to be mounted facing downward and above ground. That limits where I can place it without doing some work. • Range can vary — While “100 ft” looks good in open space, if you have multiple walls or metal siding, that reduces effectiveness. I noticed if I’m two walls away, the remote sometimes delays or needs to be closer. • Remote sturdiness — The remote is lightweight, maybe a bit flimsy feeling. It works fine, but I worry if dropped or left outdoors (though I don’t do that). • Cord length / plug placement — The 6-inch cord is heavy duty, which is good, but sometimes it’s a bit short depending on where the outlet is. If the outlet is too high or far, you’ll need extension or have to plan route carefully. Overall Thoughts & Recommendation I’d give this 4 out of 5 stars. It’s made my outdoor lighting setup much more pleasant and less of a chore. If you regularly use outdoor lights or decorations, or have outlets in awkward or hard-to-reach places, this is a very useful tool. If I were buying again, I’d just make sure I pick a placement that keeps it accessible, mounted properly (facing down), and not too shielded by walls to keep the remote reliable. Works great. No more bending over the plug in our outdoor water fountain.

We had the string of lights on a timer and couldn’t get the timer to turn the lights on at night. Hooked the lights up to this remote and now we can turn it on every night while inside the house. Love it!

I’m in a mobile doublewide home and don’t enjoy crawling underneath to turn on and off the heat tape. So nor I just point it out the window to turn it off and on. I’m 81 yrs old but in good shape. Still, I don’t want to tempt fate and climb under the house. Great device.

It works Great! We are using it in our business to control the neon open sign. The unit was installed up in the drop down celing so that is is completly hiden and the remote still activates perfectly.

Delivered on time and is as described. Would be nice to have a red button for "OFF." When I'm multi-tasking and focused on something else, I find myself pushing the wrong button to turn a device off. A red button would be a better/faster visual. Other than that it's what I needed and works fine.

Simple and easy to use, this plug in with remote makes turning my strig lights in and off a breeze. The remote is plenty strong and I can even turn the lights on and off from inside my house. Very happy that I bought this instead of having to climb a ladder to turn my patio lights on and off.

We ordered this to control a string of lights in our backyard that go down our fence so that we don't have to go and plug them in each time. We installed it in the Fall and it seems to be holding up to the Canadian winter so far! Works well.
