Art Nouveau: An Adult Coloring Book with Fantasy Women, Mythical Creatures, and Detailed Designs for Relaxation

I was worried the paper quality would not be good based on others reviews, but it is great! Better than most coloring books I would say. I use colored pencils, not pens. I like the pictures and there are two of each in the book so you can share or color a favorite twice.

I really enjoy the art work in this one. Beautiful thinner lines and great detail. I've never had a problem with the paper in the Jade Summer books but I use colored pencils. If you use alcohol marker the ink will bleed through just like with any other paper. Well almost any other paper. The black background on the back of the pages will not stop bleed through I believe it's only there to disguise the ink that shows up through the paper. So just remember to always place a few sheets of copy paper or any other kind between pages to stop ink from bleeding onto other pages. I even place paper between when using pencil to stop pressing the tooth down of the following pages. I can get a little heavy handed sometimes. Take a look at Jade Summers website to see all pictures in the book so you can decide if this is a book for you.

I bought this coloring book for my niece along with a pack of gel pens and colored pencils for her birthday day because she is into fantasy characters and stuff like fairies, elves, witches, sorceress’s, Dragons and the like and she really loved this book and began coloring in it immediately! I was also happily surprised to see the quality of the pictures and the art work and detail of them and would definitely recommend this book to others who are interested in coloring fantasy pictures. It seems appropriate for ages early teens - adults

I love mostly all of your books and I really like this one but the pictures aren't as large as I was hoping for, but the pictures are beautiful. Wish it was large print though.

Line art is great and there is two of each image! I’m really impressed! I would recommend to anyone who likes to color art nouveau style!

Kind of disappointed because paper is thin and will not support markers to color. Do like the patterns, but they do not go to the edge of the pages as back cover suggests. Still deciding to return or keep.

It was well received and appreciated it was very different from the normal boring coloring books.

This book is awesome! There’s tons of variety in the images. You also get two of every picture so you can color again. The paper is okay, it does bleed but it’s okay if you put a paper behind it. Would definitely buy again

I used to draw and paint, but these days my stress levels are too high to focus on my art, music, etc. So I thought, hey I should start coloring, it is so relaxing, and will get me back into the feel of a pencil again. So I looked for coloring books. I was impressed by Jade Summer's adult coloring books. So I bought dragons first, I think. And when I saw how awesome it was, I ordered one for my mom, then this one for us, Art Nouveau, and the also awesome Faeries.I can tell you that these books will provide hours of pleasure, this one comes with single sided pictures, with the opposite page being black. This makes the pictures more farmable, as you don't have two favorites back to back.The pictures themselves vary, mostly fantasy and fairy tale, but they are drawn in an Art Nouveau styling, which makes for an interesting coloring.While there are a couple of duplicates, the overall feel of this book is awesome, the paper is good quality, the images are awesome throughout, and the price is amazing for a good quality book that will give you hours of drawing pleasure.A few downsides to add, while the pages do have a blacked out back page, there are no perforations to easily remove the page, for easier coloring or framing. There are a few repeats, however, like many colourers, this does give you the ability to try coloring a different way, which is cool, but some people might not like that.Bottom line, is that I am very impressed with these, and when I finally get these all done, I will order more.
