My winter coat bit the dust about two years ago. I had bought it used from the thrift store and then wore it for additional years until it looked too grubby and nasty to wear in public. I then used an old coat that I had, but as it was a button up, it didn't keep the cold and wind out. My son also had a coat that needed replaced. He is a grocery delivery driver, so he spends winter wearing his coat all day long. His coat was in tatters. I found these coats on sale which I was happy about. I mixed up which coat I was getting for him and which for me in sizes/colors. I ended up turning around and ordering the coats again only this time I got the colors and sizes correct. It wasn't until I had to unzip my coat (the red one) that I remembered that it was a guys coat. But that doesn't make any difference to me. I like the coat and that it comes with a warm hood. I like the fact that you can tighten up the sleeves at the wrist with hook and loop tape. It is exactly the kind of coat that I need for our part of the country and the winters we get with wind, snow, rain, etc. My son likes his coat as well and was happy to get it. I'm so glad I had tucked away money in a Christmas club the past year as I had the money to buy the coats.

Gog this as a Christmas gift for my son. He is 6' 3" and weighs around 300 pounds. He is has very broad shoulders, son much so that usually to fit him through the shoulders means things are far to big around the chest. This jacket is a really good fit. He can cross his arms without straining the seams or having the sleeves rise halfway up his arms. While it is roomy in the chest it isn't so much that it looks ill fitted. He is very pleased with it in every way from the softness of the inside to the removable hood and the depth of the pockets. Pleased with this purchase.

To answer both of your questions. There was nothing about this jacket that I didn't like. Don't let the lightweight look fool you. This jacket is very comfortable and warm. I love being able to remove the hood on the not so windy days. Very deep pockets for your personals inside & outside. I highly recommend purchasing this jacket. I will be buying another one real soon. My current one is blue. I love this jacket!!

I needed a new jacket and so far I've been impressed with this. The hoodie was easily removable and the jacket keeps me very warm. The only negative thing I have to say about this jacket is the zippered inner pocket. It opens facing frontwards instead of upwards. I'm afraid to put anything in it since I'm always worried about something falling out. If the zipper was on top like normal, or even if it was offset at a 45° angle it would be fine. Still, it's a small thing and doesn't really detract from the rest of the jacket.

I thought that being a winter jacket it would be stuffed with more insulation, but this jacket is plenty warm on it's own. I've only had the chance to have it out in mild cold weather of 20-25* F. I am pretty sure this jacket will work just fine with a nice sweater underneath below zero this winter. For the $65 I paid for it I feel like a got a solid good deal. Sizing chat was also perfect for selecting the right size...fits like a glove.

This jacket is warm, I'm surprised at how well insulated this jacket is, I live in the pacific NW, we've had a few nights already in the lower 30'sAnd had this jacket on, very impressive, and for the price, excellent deal, I would buy this jacket again

So I'm a woman who has a HUGE problem finding winter coats because I have broad shoulders & SUPER long arms. To not only find a pretty colored coat, but one that has arms long enough too.... I'M SO HAPPY!! It also seems like it's well made & really warm, which I'm really happy about too. I'm almost tempted to buy a second one just to set it back when this one does wear out.

Great for weather in and around freezing (-5 to 5c)Seems good keeping me dry. Love the fact it's not overly heavy and is machine washable.
