First-these are far from professional quality brushes despite the marketing. However, this is a surprisingly good set for the price, and the brushes don't suffer the flaws typical of most at this price point, such as shedding. They are much stiffer and longer than watercolor brushes but work well with a range of media such as inks, gouache and acrylic paints-and after loosening up for awhile they can be used for some w/c applications. I bought them for a specific project but now find myself reaching for them when I use gouache or need a stiff liner for watercolor. Speaking of the liner brush, I did have to replace the first set I bought because it did not include the liner brush and instead had duplicates of another size. But I'm glad that I persevered and recommend them to anyone looking for an affordable all-around brush set.

I am very pleased with the set of brushes. They hold a nice point while holding a good amount of color and water. I have not had any issues with loose hairs. I recommend these brushes as you have an assortment of sizes. The brushes feel good in my hand and hold color for a nice long stroke. They are a good value and I think that any artist would be impressed with them.

Great packaging. I took my time to write the review bc I wanted to use them and give an honest review. I’ve purchased quite a lot of art supplies over the years, brushes being one of them. I really don’t like wasting my money on supplies I’m not going to use so I really don’t like buying brushes, even after reading reviews. Because we’re all different kinds of artist. We all paint differently. We all have different techniques and look for very different things in a brush. But, in my opinion, with three brushes, I feel like a true professional 😂. I can control the brush. The bristles are not loose and go in the direction i want them to go. I accidentally left one of them, my favorite one of course, in my water bottle with dirty paint water and I was thinking the second I pull it out it’s going to fall apart— it didn’t!!! I ended up doing it again, same brush, same accident, 🤦🏽‍♀️ but SAME OUTCOME. the brush was still like new. I don’t recommend doing that but just in case you do, don’t freak out like I did. Anyway, i love my set of brushes. I’ll buy more when I need them or probably even if I don’t bc I have a weird thing where, if i find something I like, something that works well for me, I tend to want to buy 100 of them. 🤦🏽‍♀️ I’ll refrain from that for now. I am very happy with these brushes. Affordable. Fast shipping. Great product. Gray color too!

I've only used them once so far but I'm very pleased with this brush set. I paint in acrylic and watercolor but I've only tried these with watercolor. They preformed great and kept a clean sharp point for some detail work. I'm very impressed for less than a dollar a brush.

I saw these brushes used on a you tube video so I thought I’d give them a try. I wasn’t expecting much but wow I was wrong.. they are so nice! I like the way they feel in my hand, nice tips, work with watercolors well. I’d purchase again

Excellent, budget friendly brushes. Perfect for watercolour painting. Last ages if you look after them, reshape after use and don't leave them sat in water.
