Not quite as private as I had hoped
Easy to install, once you get the hang of it, but very tedious and time consuming. Our fenceline is mostly in full sun this time of year, so I may wait for cooler weather to finish up the project. I bought two different brands, and they are nearly identical. I couldn't decide on a color, so I alternated 3 straps of 2 different colors and I am happy with the result. The privacy is debatable, depending on where the sun is, but it helps make our country property look a little more refined.

They look good, but are very thin.
I had a portion of my cyclone fence with a similar privacy slat destroyed in a storm this season. I purchased these to install in the new fencing. While they look nice, they are of a thinner gauge than the ones theyâre replacing, and the flimsiness makes them more difficult to install. Otherwise they do the job well.

Great product. But remember, can't make a silk purse from a sow's ear.
Great stuff. Very easy to install, very audible "click" when the slat is properly seated in the channel. The product is very sturdy. I've bent a few slats to go around bolts on the fence with no issues, they just spring back to their original shape. The product looks very nice. Issues comes into play (silk purse/pig ear) if your chainlink fencing is not in good condition, installation of fencing not well done, or the fence panels are of very uneven dimensions to follow the terrain. My fence is in good condition but due to the terrain, some of my slats had to be trimmed to fit the odd shapes in the fence or bolts that protrude in the way.Bottom line, will be ordering more.

Great added privacy
I'm slowly getting these to add privacy to a fence at my in laws. They have neighbors who have horribly overgrown yard and as I slowly buy these the backyard is getting it's privacy again. I went with this brand hoping the wave pattern will help stop the blackberries from growing through the fence. Each box does roughly one panel of fencing which is key to note. Still need more but so far two of seven panels done with two orders.

Easy to install
I RARELY write reviews. This product is great. Went up easy and as described. Looks awesome. I'll be purchasing more. A little expensive when it comes to shipping but not enough to keep me from reordering. If your on the fence đ just buy it! You won't be disappointed.

Better deal than big box stores
These are great. Easy to install and work pretty well. Bought for side of fence facing a busy road, works well and blocks out a lot of our yard.Big box stores didnât even have the 4?ft fence size and were a lot more expensive.

. Recommend! Really nice, installed easily.. some tips b4 you install
I purchased the Grey 5 boxes of the 4 foot slats (our fence is 11 gage - 2 1/4â diamond slat size) I called and verified with the company that installed our fence 8 yrs ago, the gage / diamond size b4 purchasing. They offered to have me buy their vendors privacy slats and install for about $1000. To install a privacy vinyl privacy fence they quoted $14k. No thanks⌠including s&h of $60 UPS( which I checked and that is what USPS charges for 31 lbs from vendor to my location) this cost $299. WAY cheaperâŚWe were trying to cover one side of our fence due to neighbor not cleaning up their yard, and wanted privacy from their dogs/mess. My husband said it was my project, and I did it all by myself (girl power..lol) Iâm not mechanically inclined, and it took me about 6 hours over 2 days to complete it start to finish. My suggestion is have a small stool to sit on/scissors/butter knife/ U shaped stakes ( you can buy on Amazon also - once your finished you need to secure the fence to the ground- per our fence professional) so I bought those and for every 10 feet used 3 stakes. That way if you have high winds, the weight adding the stakes will not topple over your fence. I first put the bottom pieces on, then put all the slats in place (using one box at a time) and while sitting on the stool used the butter knife to open up the bottom piece wide enough to push the slat down and lock into place. I had the best luck pulling the bottom piece lip toward me and then getting the slat to lock into place. Itâs time consuming, but take your time and youâll get the hang of it. When I was finished, I went back over the top of each slat pushed down gently to make sure each slat wasâ locked in placeâ then put my stakes in the ground. A few times I had to push back a metal twist piece to get the slat to drop down into the diamond, but they are pretty simple to do. I did trim 2 pieces at the start and end of the fence to not leave any openings. Overall, it looks really nice and the slats are really nice quality. Arrived within a week of ordering. Really impressed myself, didnât ask for husbandâs help at all, and he was impressed I did it all on my own, and how nice and private it looks. Would highly recommend. Hope my tips helps others when start this process. June 2023 update- slats held up so well this past year decided to finish the rest of chain link fence with more slats, and installed privacy fence on one side to give complete privacy from neighbors. Very happy. Ordered 2 more boxes, only needed 1 to finish project. Refund simple and easy, they must have updated their policies. No return restock / shipping fees, and said no return of the extra box required but giving full refund of unopened box. Awesome company. Thanks!
