GloryStarWomen's German Dirndl Dress Costumes for Bavarian Oktoberfest Carnival Halloween (L, 19-Blue)

I bought this for an Oktoberfest I volunteer at. After 3 years, figured I needed to dress the part. This item is perfect. The quality is so much better than I expected for the price. Others I have looked at were in the hundreds of dollars range. I only wear once a year, did not need to spend that when this gets the job done for under hundred. It is NOT cheap feeling. Good seams with great straight lines & consistent detail. Surprised on how well it fit. I bought a L, I'm 5 ft & 160 lbs. Hits me right at the knee level. Would have liked it shorter BUT with the detail on the edge, it would be really expensive to hem which I am Ok with because the quality shows in the dress. Love the velvet ribbon matches the trim on the dress. The little blouse has ties to cinch where needed! Some other brands for this price had no ties to help it fit right. Sometimes when you buy things, the skirt fits but the blouse does not. This was all over a good consistent size as a group item. For once, something worth the money I paid for it. I never leave reviews but figured this item deserved one. Hope this helps others when shopping.

I ordered a small and a medium. For reference I am 5’4”, about 140 lbs. Waist 30”, wear a 36 B-C depending on brand. The medium has wayyyyy too much room in the chest and I have to wear a mega push up bra to make it not look loose. So if you are big chested this would work! The small fits way better on the chest, just a liiiittle hard to zip up for my waist. Overall I prefer the small for my size!Otherwise it’s very nice material, gorgeous colors and very authentic looking. Really nice!PS: all pieces are washer and dryer friendly and it helps with the slight wrinkles!

This one fit more like a medium. The material was thick, and the pattern was very pretty. I was not found of the apron. I did not like the material. And it felt kind of small. For the price though. This is a decent and authentic looking Dirndl. I bought a medium, and it fit snug and boosted the girls nicely! For reference I am 5’4, 34/36 C cup, and 158lbs (ehhh baby weight…)

I would like to preface this by saying that I bought my first dirndl in Munich, Germany. I was dressed by the shop women and shown exactly how to wear my dirndl. Unfortunately, 2 babies later, I no longer fit into it.This dirndl looks similar to my authentic German one! The material is gorgeous and makes it look more expensive than it is. It seems like it could look cheap in the pictures, but I assure you it’s not. Also, another comment said it didn’t come with the ribbon. The ribbon is in a small bag attached to the tag, so don’t toss it out! Oh, and I didn’t recall seeing a pocket advertised. I love me a pocket in a dress! Why there’s only one, no one will ever know; but, I’ll take one over none!As for the fit, I am an hour glass figure, size 16 in pants with a 34H chest, I’m 3 months postpartum and still nursing. The bodice fits me well, but even with a larger chest, the top is still a bit big. The rest of the dress hides my mom pooch perfectly and is quite flattering. I’m really impressed.

The dress and the apron are absolutely beautiful, however it is missing the white shirt underneath, which it says is part of the deal as a three-piece outfit. I’m disappointed because I’ve ordered two other dresses here and they’ve come with all three pieces.

I ordered a few different drindles from various companies on amazon, for Octoberfest in my home town. I was looking forward to this 'Glory Star' red and pink polkadot babe one the most and it did not dissapoint! I will be returning the others. This dress is good quality, breathable cotton. It is not a cheap costume. It arrived on time and as promised there were three pieces; blouse, drindle and appron. The ribbon for laceing up the front is included. In the picture, I am wearing a ribbon I had lying around the house. I will save the pretty red ribbon they provided for Octoberfest. This dress is beautiful! It looks just like the one on the model. I love the details like the traditional front zip closure, the frills around the neckline, the pretty metal clasps and the piping on the back. So girly! I felt this was really good value for the money and worth every penny! It fit true to the size chart. I am a 44inch bust, 38 inch waist. I am 5ft 10inches tall and over 200lbs. I ordered the 2xl and it fit great. Good length, falls just above the knee. Very comfortable. I was suprised the blouse fit well, I wear a 34K bra(not a typo, just big ol jugs). The blouse has a draw string so you can adjust the amount of cleavage you want to show. And it's a sleevless design so there is no tight arm elastic, which seems to be a common compliant for drindle blouses with sleeves. I definetley reccomend going with your measurements. I may have my dress taken in a tiny bit by a taylor just to get that perfect fit but it is'nt necessary. If you are inbetween sizes I reccomend a size up and get it altered rather than a size down and possibly end up with a too small dress. Oh and it has one pocket!!! Hallelujha! I would definetley order from this company again. I will likley post a pic after the event so you can see it all fresh pressed in it's full glory. Proust!

As a German I can say the quality for the price is decent. Not comparable to the ones you would get in Germany but good. Fit with size S was just right in my case. It looked exactly like the picture and I’m pretty happy with the purchase.Only criticism is on the delivery time - it came more than one week after the promised date despite being a prime customer which was really disappointing- hence only 4 stars.
