Nikon D7200 For Dummies

No dislikes and reason I got was to brush up on my D7200 camera features

This is my "go to" guide for using my Nikon D7200. Everything I need to know is in there. I'll admit I didn't read it straight through, instead I read the first 4-5 chapters and then skipped around. There is a lot to digest and I couldn't remember it all. So when I get ready to shoot something specific, say real estate, I refer to the sections of the guide that might relevant. It's become quite dog-eared so my only complaint is that the binding isn't the best. So I got the Kindle edition as well. Now, I refer to it on my iPad when I need a quick reference. The book is full of great illustrations, photographs of the actual camera, it's displays and functions. Makes things very clear. I will also check out a "For Dummies" book for anything new I need to learn.

When you try to write something in the "for Dummies" series, you've still got a wide audience. New to photography? to digital photography? to Nikon? or just to the D7200? Author lays out the important features of the camera. Some sections I could skim over as I used to sling a medium format film camera in another lifetime and other sections was looking for additional details. Overall, it'll get you up and running regardless of your background or experience level, but consider there are limitations with a "one-size fits all" approach.

In the age of the smart phones perfect photos, cameras such as the D7200 provide the opportunity to make photographs one’s own. This well written book helps in the achievement of photographic independence.

This is a very informative ebook. It has decided me. I will be getting a Nikon D7200 one day soon. I will also be getting a Nikon D500 before long. It pays to have a backup camera when out on important shoots, and the Nikon D7200 will become my new backup camera, while the Nikon D500 will become my new primary camera. I have also read several D500 ebooks, which decided me on that camera. I like to research potential purchases ahead of time, and ebooks like this have helped me do so.

Great book. I previously had a Nikon D5000 and was thinking about an upgrade to a better camera. Then, on a backpacking trip, I fell into a creek, drowning my D5000. So, I purchased the D7200 and this book. I already had read the book, "Nikon D5000 for Dummies" and it was very helpful. This book has the same author, so this purchase was a no-brainer for me. Easy to read, lots of good information. Highly recommended.

I was surprised the reviews weren't great and I'm really glad I gave this book a try. I just bought the d7200 after using primarily my iPhone for pictures. This book has been a lifesaver and I have learned quite a bit so far. I'm only halfway through but I'm very happy I bought it. There is so much to learn about this camera but it's written in a way that I can go back and re-read certain sections to make sure I know exactly what feature controls what. It's been helpful and easy to understand.

Love this helpfully book

The guide is invaluable for beginners or those new to digital photography. However, it is also a great reference guide for advanced photographers who want to take advantage of everything the Nikon D7200 can deliver.

Really informative book that explains all the functionality of the camera in plain English. Also provides good tips and examples. An excellent buy.

No official User Guide / Product Manual can match this book in terms of lucidity and caring attitude. I learnt so many things about my camera which the Product Manual prepared by the camera manufacturer never told me. Wonderful reference book.

This book is very easy to follow and makes a complex matter seem quite simple. It is far easier to use than the manual that came with the camera and the pages don't keep falling out!
