do not buy this!!!!!batteries will leak bad!!!!!!!!!no designed for alkaline batteriesbatteries destroyed my night stand at over 300 dollars....im pissed

It did not work.

My husband & I bought our from HSN.about 2 months ago, got it out to use it and we are disappointed. We followed instructions, put 4 D cell batteries in and the charger was working just fine for about 5 minutes then it showed that the batteries were fully charged but were not. I did this about 4 times and just gave up. Does anyone know what we are doing wrong? The batteries where just a dim as in the beginning. Hoping it would work. I think it's to late to send back. thanks for reading and helping out if you can.

I BOUGHT THIS BECAUSE I SEEN IT ON HSN,AND NEEDED A BATTERY CHARGER. WHEN I RECEIVED IT THE BOXES WERE MASHED IN. THE UNIT WAS MISSING A SIDE PIECE.I DECIDED TO TRY IT ACCORDING TO WHAT IT SAID. THE BATTERIES THAT SAID THEY WERE CHARGED I SWITCH PLACES WITH OTHER BATTIERS TO FIND OUT THEY WERE NOT CHARGED! ALSO, THE UNIT IS SUPPOSE TO TURN ITSELF OFF AFTER 24 HOURS,IT NEVER DID! IT DID CHARGE SOME BATTERIES. I CAN'T TELL EVERYTHING BECAUSE I AM ONLY ALLOWED 400 WORDS. IM GOING TO BUY FROM HSN,THEY WILL REPLACE DEFECTIVE ITEMS

I have a lot of flameless candles. They were breaking me up to buy batteries for them. My sister bought this and I used it. Guess I'll be ordering me one as soon as possible. She loves hers and think about the money you save.

The Renu-it box looked like it had been opened when I received the item. When I went to charge some batteries (alkaline) One of the docks didn't work, it would always say BAD battery. When I would put the battery in another dock it would charge just fine. I also noticed that when charging batteries that the charging indicator would have only 2 bars (out of 4 bars indicating full charge) for hours, if I would turn the machine off and back on it would say that they were fully charged. Testing the batteries with a volt meter it would say that the D cell alkaline batteries were only 70% charged, but the machine would indicate that they were fully charged.They said it was a NEW item but by the way the box looked and some finger prints on the item it looked more like it was used or recycled before I received it.
