OK; Just not right for me
I purchased this to primarily zest lemons and other fruit, as well as grate cheese. I could not get it to do a good job with zesting. I have yet to try it for cheese, so cannot comment. One thing I did not like was the rubber gripper on the bottom. Although it's nice that it comes off for cleaning, it is very awkward to get back on. Most reviews were quite positive, so perhaps my way of using these graters is not quite the same. I like the idea this product presents with the gripper; just wasn't the right one for me.

Looks nice. Grates well. Cheap material.
The grater does a great job grating. The item itself is pretty cheap. The handle and base can be removed for cleaning but then the handle just comes off while you're grating. I tried grating without the handle but without the support the box gets all wobbly. Now the handle has a crack in it from all the times I've had to get it back onto the box. Will be returning. CORRECTION. Two weeks past the 30 day policy so I can't return it. HOW ANNOYING. So much for the lifetime guarantee!!

I purchased this grater in December... it is now June. I am a single person who uses it at most...three times a month. I bought it because I liked the feature of the rubber gasket on the bottom which makes it non-slip on the cutting board. The gasket is totally ripped! Not good!

I love the color but the quality has me a bit concerned. The plastic at the top doesn't look as nice as I thought it did online and the coarse holes look a bit bigger than I'd hoped. I just got it and haven't used it so if it works well, I'll update this review!

Worst kitchen purchase in 10 years! Falls apart almost instantly.
This is definitely one of the most cheaply made kitchen products I have ever purchased. I've owned it just over 1 month and the plastic handle has already cracked (see pics). Before it cracked the handle would easily pop off and I'd have to put it back together. I would never recommend this product and am returning it. Very disappointed.

Terrific kitchen tool that broke in less than two months
Built like they used to years ago; 12.10.15 update. The handle broke today. Recycled. Don't buy this product.

Not really. I was looking for a course grater and this was too fine. I had to open the course holes with a pair of long nosed pliers (just insert the closed pliers in each hole and bend the blade outward). Now it can grate a potato or block of cheese quickly. But in all fairness, I've never found a grater that wasn't to whimpy.
