Doctor Is In, The MP3 CD – Unabridged, June 2, 2015

Like a couple of other reviewers, I didn't know Dr. Ruth's history before her role/celebrity so this was a fun and little 'bits' of documentary of her life. As anyone (old enough) to know her, she isn't just THE first public sex therapist, she is the cute, funny, direct, ball-of-fire who has great insight. My greatest compliment about this book is that she has gone through quite a bit, but never let fame get the best of her (enjoyed what she should have) but continued(continues) to learn and also share with us! This book is just that! It's not about sex, it's about LIFE and I personally enjoyed it, the humor, have lots of respect and mostly love that she did come 'more into fame' later in life! Something that even young people can appreciate hearing.

Thank you to both Dr. Ruth and Pierre Lehu for writing this book. It is very well written and shares stories that will make you laugh and cry. The heart and soul of the authors shines through on every page.Dr. Ruth is famous but she also "scatters joy" which is even more fabulous.

I love how Dr. Ruth kept repeating joie de vevre (life of joy), emphasizing it with many stories and examples. By the end, the principle was firmly implanted in me! Dr. Ruth is just a wonderful person and so magnetic. Her book is a must read!

I gave this book a five star rating mostly because Dr. Ruth Westheimer is a Five Star human being. I learned much more about the life and philosophy of Dr. Ruth Westheimer. I learned how much more there was to this remarkable woman than I realized. Dr. Westheimer is a living example of unbelievable courage, perseverance, and an indomitable spirit that illuminates and illustrates the joy of being alive. That you, Dr. Westheimer, for sharing so much of your life with us.

What an amazing life she has had, and is still going. I found it jumps around a bit but very interesting. A good read.

An excellent book.Her sense of humor coupled with her knowledge of the human mind and body made for an enjoyable read.In fact, at 72 years of age, I even learned a few things!!!

This is a book that reveals a great deal about Dr. Ruth's life and it is an easy read. It reveals that Dr. Ruth was remarkable as a child, a holocaust orphan, an Israeli army sniper, as a writer, a TV host, a mother, a wife and as a therapist. Whether you agree with her is a moot point because as you read of her life, you fall in love with her.

Really enjoyed the telling of Dr. Ruth's life. What an interesting woman.

Dr Ruth has led the most interesting life. I highly recommend this book.
