Xpress Platinum Countertop Cooker

This machine is great for someone like me who's a college student and don't have access to a full fledge kitchen.Pros:-Compact and doesn't take up much space-Can cook a lot of foods, bot homemade and store-bought-Cooking on both pans is an ingenious conceptCons:-The blue cover on top of the Xpress is a little crooked-The steaming unit and cookbook are not included; what is included are: the machine, divider pan, deep dish pan, spatula, and the red timer.-Not really a con but this machine runs hot so be careful!Conclusion:Overall, a big improvement over the ready-set-go. Not sure if it's worth to upgrade if you already have a previous machine but if you're shopping for the first time, it's worth a try.

This has been my cook stove away from home, saving me a lot of money when I must stay in hotels and allowing me to cook for my special dietary needs. I purchased my latest one when the other was damaged by baggage handlers at the airport. It works very well and its various insert parts allow one to cook different things from Panini to stir-fry dishes.

This is a total piece of junk. I will return it if I can figure out how to get it back in the box, and if not it will go into the trash. I would not even donate it to the Salvation Army, much less give it to a friend. The pans are made of plastic, not metal like my earlier ones. I am actually wondering if it's a knock off of the XPress RediSetGo I bought a few years ago. The lid won't close on the deep pan, and I truly do not need another frying pan to reheat food -- and I would be terrified of burning myself if I tried to cook with the top standing open. I am more angry at this than anything I've ever bought on Amazon. Don't buy this!!!!!

No instructions were included with this purchase. I made omelets according to my last Xpress directions. Had to cook an additional 3/4 minutes. Also really miss the timer not part of the unit.

Mine did not come with the 'Deep Dish Pan' or the timer, as some other customers said they received...... only the cooker, spatula, 'divided cooking insert', and instruction/recipe book. I'm not that bummed over the lack of a timer.. those are cheap.. However, one of the main reasons I ordered this was for the deep dish pan. Now, I have no idea where to go to buy one. I own three of the 'Xpress ready set go' cookers (Original is going strong, just bought two more as back-ups just in case the company ever stops making these things)... I LOVE them... however, I'm pretty disappointed about the deep dish pan.. I would have given this less stars if I didn't like the actual main product so much. Anybody have any idea where I can buy the deep dish pan (without getting caught up in a never-ending 'as-seen-on-TV'- credit card charge?Addendum: While searching on Amazon for other things, I decided to look for 6 inch pans, and found some 6 inch baking pans that I believe might work for the Xpress Platinum. The inside of the Xpress Platinum (and Xpress ready-set-go) cooking well is around 6 inches. Hope it works.

Love product except it broke within a month. I was in middle of using it when it simply stopped heating up. However, I still have original machine I got over 10 years ago. I'm returning for new one, hopefully this was just a fluke

This is a great little cooker. I'm surprised you can buy anything like this in the appliance section at the store.I use this and an older model almost every day
