I can't believe I'm writing a review for a scrunchy. I mean, a scrunchy is a scrunchy is a scrunchy, right? Nothing special about these things. WRONG! OMG, I love this thing so much! It's a little thicker than the ones that I have been wearing, but I thought I would give it a shot. It FEELS better. I didn't think the old ones felt bad until I put these babies in my hair. They keep a solid grip on my slippery hair without making it feel too tight. They stay in place. And.. the best part..... they do not leave a big wave in my hair after I take them out!! Sometimes I like to wear my hair up (like when I'm focusing at work), and wear it down later in the day. With regular scrunchies, they put an indentation in my hair. I am loving on these scrunchies so hard. Highly recommend!

Y'all....SCOOP. THESE. UP.I usually dont swear losing hair ties. But I get UPSET when I lose one of these. I hung in the the first half dozen box I bought for 2 years and when I lost the last one I was looking a HOT MESS for a week.I ordered 2 boxes this time.Last time, I gave away 2-3 of these .... This time....all 12 are staying with me. I'm going to keep one in my car, one at my office, 2 in my traveling bag, one in my backpack, one at my desk, one for the bathroom...You catch my drift. I'm basically going to keep these at all the places I normally perch...so that I don't ever have to worry about being without one.Don't sleep on these. I have super thick, curly hair. These keep my curls secure.

I switched from ouchless elastic bands to these type of hairbands like 6 months ago and saw a huge difference in reduced breakage at my crown.I wear a ponytail daily to work, and sometimes if I pull my hair too tight, I get a headache and have to re-do my ponytail. These are perfect because they pull my hair back just tightly enough to keep my hair out of my face and out of the way, but I'm no longer giving myself a headache regularly.Also, my hair is finally retaining length at the top. I have one that I use as a sleep hairband in conjunction with a satin pillowcase. I place drops of jojoba oil on the hairband and top knot my hair before I go to sleep. My natural hair is usually flat-ironed straight and when I wake up in the morning my hair has a few nice waves if I want to wear it down. I love these things!

I love these hair ties. I got them to help take my frizz and be gentle on my hair. I use them to sleep with my curly hair in a bun or pineapple under a bonnet at night. They hold well and I don’t have issues with them falling out if I tie it twice. Some of the scrunchies were bigger than the others but they all work the same and are the same quality.

I waited a month to write this review. I really wanted to see if this would make a noticeable difference in my hair routine. I have type 4C/B grades in my hair. Needless, to say maintaining a twist out is a chore. I use these to keep my hair gently stretched while I sleep when my hair is out. This helps keep my hair moisturized in their sections and my ends “clumped” and neat. That alone prevents “fairy knots.” My hair is barely shedding after my 5 wash day. My last twist out I wore for 5 days! That may not be a lot for some but in the Denver summer sun, that’s huge.If you’re on the fence, don’t be. I do recommend 2 sets. I have “shusmedium”- phrasing... length hair. I used one tie at the top with very little to no tension and one at the bottom section of hair. The bottom tie, I lay each wrap flat. I wrap the tie down the section leaving only the very ends loose. Pop a bonnet on and done. Good luck, Team Curl.

These hair ties do the trick but they’re on the pricier side for hair ties. They also had a really strong plastic smell for days when I opened them.

This is the second time I have ordered this product from this seller. First of all the last set came with black tags visible on the scrunchie which was fine because it blended in with my hair, but this set had white labels and was a different brand so you can often see the label peaking out from my bun.I haven’t even been using the scrunchie in the picture for more than a day and it has already ripped at the seams, second one that’s done this. Didn’t have any problems with the set I ordered last year.Wish I knew this changed brands before I ordered again, way worse quality and have to be strategic about where the tag ends up.
