The products is of good quality. It was supplied with AAA batteries and a cloth pouch for storing the thermometer away. Readings are consistent and it doesn't take more than a second or two to get the reading. All you do for the forehead is place in the centre and press the button, 1 second later the reading appears in a legible white digital display. There's also an indicator with a face that indicates normal temp. presumably an unhappy face would appear if temp. is above normal threshold. All explained in the manual. I'm pleased to have purchased this based on the reviews and feedback of others. I got this because previous one required a small lithium button cell battery for replacement, and it was the one you place under the tounge. It was a pain to change the battery, then the button wouldn't give a reading so pulled it out the housing and the thing broke, off it went to the bin. Secondly this new one can also take an ear reading, but the forehead method is simple so am extremely pleased with the device.

At this time of year an easy to use, accurate, non invasive thermometer is essential. I have a 2 year old who is always very reluctant to have a thermometer put under her arm and there's no chance of getting one under her tongue so this is a godsend, in seconds I know whether she has a fever or not. The ear reading option is ideal for my old girl, who likes to do it herself. It was slightly tricky to change from farenheit to celcius but that was probably more me being impatient than the unit/instructions! Overall this is a great piece of equipment and a must have for any medicine cabinet!

I’ve used the Braun Thermoscan for about 4 years, but unfortunately it’s stopped working and I can’t see the display. Rather than spending another £40 on a similar unit, I thought I’d try something different this time.This thermometer is the business! It’s easy to read, easy to use and comes with batteries too!For the money, I’d highly recommend buying it, rather than spending double on a similar unit.

ive had many, including expensive Braun ear thermometer (which is still use), but the accuracy and trustworthiness of this one is undeniable! as long as you follow instructions, readings seem consistent and very accurate. the ease of usage is so comfortable, especially with small child. my 1 year old loves participating in getting temp measured with this forehead touching termo.!

It was a little tricky to change the mode but since having done this I have no complaints

Perfect for family at home. Easy to use for babies and both adults. Readings are accurate. Good size and easy to handle. Foe the price it’s a good buy. So far I have used just few time and hope it will last for a while. I would recommend definitely

Tried this thermometer on myself, my 4 months old baby and my partner. On all of us it worked with +/-0.1 accuracy. Design of thermometer is very nice too which is not extremely important for the thermometer but nice to have... Haven't used when someone's been ill but hopefully I wont need to. 😊
