Yes, it does work but, it has very very limited range...it only works when the button is within fewer than 5 feet and visible to the bell unit...this would work well for example in a store like a cleaners on the counter in place of the traditional mechanical bell. But the signal won't go through even the thinnest door so don't expect it to work through a typical house front door...

Not so good. Failed within weeks. Seller replaced it, but it too failed. Same problem battery drains likely due to a bad circuit board. Total waste of money. Bought one at Walmart for less that works fine.
